So who is turning 21 tonight and going out to celebrate?! ME! :o

But who would rather be here holding the line? Me....

Real life can be such a pain. And honestly, when this whole thing started in March, I did not think that it would last all the way to the end of April. I thought that by the time my birthday came, we would know for sure what was going to happen, and if we did, we would know what was going to be on it...but here I am, still living the stages of grief over ME3 ending...:(

Go get drunk. We'll still be here when you stumble home. Image IPB

Yes but space mining still is just science fiction IMO, a nasa mission next year to get gold from an astroid will recover about £30 worth of gold, with a 2 billion cost to the mission...

James Cameron, the guy who made Avatar is bankrolling it with some Google Execs.  (Am I the only one who sees the irony is James Cameron doing what the bad guys in Avatar did?) :?

Well no, considering it's not the space mining itself that was bad, lol.

Nah see, they have a WAY Better idea.. .they're going to bring the asteroids to EARTH... (wait... we want to have controlled orbital entry of asteroids over our planet... this seems like a science fiction movie gone horribly wrong).  Canadian Government and this new Planetary Resources Inc both have parallel projects.. Canada wants to mine the moon though... the fact we're even having these conversations is awesome imo.  Both groups hope to have launches by 2018, and full scale mining by 2030ish.

I'm such a lurker I should be ashamed - every day here, reading through tons of comments, yet posting only when a new comic arrives... For example, now. :D

Marauder Shields: Shepard's Last Foe
EPISODE 19: Die Where You Stand

In this one... With nothing else to loose, nothing more to sacrifice, a fan-favorite character becomes a force of nature. Suggested background music: "Moving Mountains" by Two Steps From Hell.

Open the full version here: EPISODE 19 (DA link)

All previous episodes are available at my DA profile: http://koobismo.deviantart.com - if you like any of my comics, be sure to come along and say "hi", share your thoughts, opinions, ideas, I love all kinds of feedback. :) Furthermore, if you ever see a way to make the dialogue feel more natural, better organized - be sure to let me know at DA!

HOLD THE LINE, COMMANDERS! Enjoy!

:wizard:

That was depressing. Depressing, but awesome, lol.

It's not funny.

It's awful.

This was my generations Star Wars.

No we don't have a Star Wars. God damn it. Not funny at all.

Could be worse.   I'm still having nightmares of seeing Han Solo dance off.

Well for Star Wars it took at least took until after the trilogy itself for the series to really ruin the whole thing. Yes the Ewoks are completely godawful, but The Return of the Jedi is like Citizen Cane compared to Mass Effect 3.

Yet if I assembled a team of billionaires to fund a mission to mine cheese on the moon I doubt it would work out :D

There has got to be a post somewhere on the forum where it goes like this...

Bioware (in their best Reaper voice):

You are insignificant. You cannot comprehend the magnitude of our artistic vision.

After being here since this all started, lemme me post how I've felt the past month or so.

Initial reaction: "What....what is this. I jus-...I don't even...." *goes to BSN for first time in 2 years*

Debates, argues, and pleads endlessly to fix the ending. Only cared about last 10 minutes.

See's ME: EC. Some hope...doesn't think it will really fix anything. Same crap remains. Starting to discuss other game issues.

Realizes that Tuchanka and Rannoch missions were only good missions in game. Starts to notice lots of missed opportunities throughout game. Gets depressed.

Realizes entire Priority Earth mission is awful. Replays it, confirms that the entire mission is flat.

Realizes that no decisions from ME1 or ME2 really matter.

Is now more depressed then ever.

Yes. It is the journey that matters, not the ending...

Oh totally! But since it ends on such a sour note, all I see is fault within the entire game. I can't even appreciate anything else.
