Previous page (3645) a made a post explaining why synthesis doesn't grant peace or miracilous solution if you are intrested.

To make it short, it's because wars and confilct doesn't come from DNA, it come from perspective, motive, intrest.
The only thing synthesis give, is that the next time synthetic try to kill organics, it will be for another reason than "because you are organis and i'm synthetic, i have to kill you".

I read that, and I agree. The statements Gamble made, and in turn what the game itself said, is incredibly simplistic. With his quote he basically insinuated that the root of all problems and conflicts boils down to organics vs synthetics, and that the removal of this basically neutralizes all those problems. Sometimes I wonder if they can even hear themselves talk.

I would totaly defend Mr Gamble and "his" favorit ending, as i would defend anybody that say A B or C ending is "my" favorite, because the would be right.

But where i won't accept his word is when he say organics vs synthetis is the main them of ME trilogie.
It is NOT ! and if it was, it was poorly told.
A theme is not hidden and revealed at the very end, it is apparent at the very begining.
Synthetic VS organic is not a theme, it's a JUSTIFICATION for the ending.

Was there any evidence of synthetic always fighting organics in ME ? NO !
We have lot of confrontation between species in the lore, the first contact wars, the rachni wars, the blitz etc
It make the geths vs quarian just a part of it, and not more important than the genophage or how the terminus is insecure for human colony.
We have tons of wars story in the lore, but none about synthetics rebelling against organics, and the only 1 we have (geths vs quarian), we treat it as any other race vs race problem, and the worste, it actualy devlop and solve the SAME way, making us belive "hey ! peace and cooperation works with synthetics too", how could we got "hey ! ME theme don't give a damn about collaboration, doesn't matter your history, look and culture, even friendship and love, it's about TERMINATOR ! skynet will kill us all !".

When, for me, ME stoped to be deep when they quit the humanly reachable to enter the speculating brain masturbation world.
As i said, we don't need to meet aliens to learn about tolerence; WE human know those historical fact, racisme, hatered of other, wars, genocide, all those negative part of humanity are fact in our history, but the good part too, alliance, support, tolerence.
ME got us deeply because it was about all the real human message we could understand, because we have experienced it or very detailed history about it.
Remember in ME2 the quarian girl on the citadell fasly accused and despised because she is a quarian ? Damn, who never  found this part awesome and so engaging ? righting the injustice, the officer because he wasn't doing his job properly, and kicking the volus because he was not only raciste, but dumb ! even when proven he is wrong he still try to justify himself!
That part is gold ! because any human understand it and is reached deep under his skin !
Tali's trial ? confronted in a crowed, voicing for her to help your friend the best you can, totaly amazing.
This talk to human nature, like most of ME franchise in fact.
Organics vs synthetics ? what's that ? we human, never faced it in our history, it's just speculation for us. And in ME, Bioware never in ME1, 2, 3 give any hint of synthetic always rebeling against their creator.
Like i said, there is no lore of synthetic starting war against organic, our only real exemple is the geths, but here, they tell us the geths didn't executed the quarian that chose to stay with them, the geths defended themself ... what the ?

So Mr Gamble, sorry i'm totaly retarded, i though ME theme was if you wan't to survive against what threaten life, it was by puting the history and appearence of different races in the univers aside, to find common ground, to work together, to become even friends or lover with some of them, because everybody need everybody difference to survive (the rachnis wroker efficienty, the krogan fighting spirit and hard skin, the martial turian empire armada, the volus financial support, etc), sorry i was fooled in this outstanding concept instead of embracing the skynet reboot that is just a speculation in human history, and that you solve problem by mixing difference instead of keep all our identity and working hard together.

Lollll....it's not that synthetics vs organics wasn't a big theme, it's just that the ending makes it seem like it was the only theme. It clearly wasn't. I wanted to kill the Reapers. I didn't want to blow up other technology that happened to be in orbit, like say....The NORMANDY?
