The commercials make me lol every time.

Btw, when was the last time anyone saw a ME3 commercial? For me has to be one of the last times a new Walking Dead played.

EA can get worse .............. imagine is ACTIVISION / BLIZZARD took over EA

hey hey activision made Total War games... so they got the stuff.

They also made COD... so I guess they have extremes :P no idea about blizzard.

Activision used to be awesome back in the early 2000s.. they made probably 3/4 of my favourite Star Trek games when they had those licences... The Star Trek Armada series came from them, Bridge Commander... so many good memories... Then they got infested with those mind altering bugs and it just went downhill from there :(

Ya, but then the made this

and then this

So ya, I have my weekend pretty much planned thanks to Activision^_^

EA's stock JUMPED nearly 9% when that rumour started

Do we really want a company that makes **** loads of money all because of microtransactions buying EA? I'm pretty sure that's a no from me.

If you thought DLC was bad from EA, this would be the death of videogames as we know them. Imagine playing ME3, and you see the geth pulse rifle lying on the ground. You pick it up, and a screen pops up and says," You've found the Geth Pulse Rifle! Unlock it for only $3.99"

Welcome to the Citadel - This is a confirmed credit card zone only.  While you fight off Sovereign stop by the presidium where you can pick up the newest Banshee XI  from Elanus Risk Control.  Only 250 MS points.  Get yours today!

If it happend, i wouldn't be surprised to see serval new video game studio to be created not long after.
I don't expect a mega structure like EA to be bough and stay intect with a business model that could make it worste, because i don't expect a company expert in F2P micro transaction to make the game more intresting.

To be honest, i prefer to pay MORE for a game that is complet and awesome, than less for a game that will requiere a few bucks here and there regulary to be enjoyable.

Few days ago, i just bought TW2 again, because the enhanced edition seems a real good improvement with hours of new content, and... it was the only way i could support them from TW2 1 year ago since all they did were free.
I hate "begger" games that are incomplete and requiere reular investement to get a descent xp leveling, amory efficiency and no endless farming, no free customisation, those games will never see the green of my cash.

Personally I thought Prototype was awful. I played it when I still had my PS3. Don't remember what I didn't like about it, just know that I couldn't continue playing it.

Didn't even know that they made Prototype 2, honestly I'm surprised Prototype was successful enough to warrant it.

They didn't made those games. They only published them.

Like EA and Bioware.
They are however completely subsidiary of ACtivision, so in essence they developed prototype 1 after being completely enveloped by Activision's development cycle policies.
It can either mean, activision knows how to stay away from their queen bees. Or they got good artistic sense... we cannot tell the level of involvement activision had during Prototype.
Until then we cannot give Activision credit for the game.

That would be the end of Bioware if they did that.. their fanbase would pretty much just give up and walk away at that point haha.

I'd never played The Witcher before I heard about 2 on here actually.. went out and got it because of the people excited on here for it... definitely glad I did too, picked up Witcher 1 off steam sale last week.  Super excited to start it this weekend hopefully... Witcher 2 was awesome.

I actually prefer Witcher 1 to 2. I think it's all around a better game. The graphics aren't great but the gameplay and the story is awesome.

Witcher 2 turned into a bit of an action adventure game, Witcher 1 is much more rpg.

I'd consider it a negative if I couldn't remember my original quest five hours into a game. Not that I got even that far into Witcher 1 on account of the timed clicking. Speeding it up a little can only be an improvement imo.

Part of the reason I liked the Mass Effect games is the speedy combat while still having character development among the cast. Dragon Age combat is still good, so long as I set the difficulty nice and low and plow through. In the end, I don't play these games for the individual fights.

And really, why would you want to play DA:O as a mage on anything other than the absolutely easiest settings? Friendly fire is no fun.

I beg to differ. Virulent Walking Bomb :P Actually though, I never tried that, you probably can't actually blow up your party members can you, even with that spell on friendly fire... :P Now I want to try. :P

Hemingway moved into my teachers purse :P
Ended up adding a link to Herman's essay on narratology as a cognitive science, and it still sounds like an afterthought. My excuse is my freshman status, we are not expected to know what's going on on our field at all x)
