So I just finished my first play though and now I understand why so many fans of this series are so pissed off. I'm sure what I'm about to write has been posted many times before, but after about around 150 hours of playtime getting one Shepard through all three games and many more hours playing other Shepard's I feel the need to post my discontent.

No doubt this was the worst Mass Effect game. It had some fun combat and some good storys but the weak parts drag it down to the point I have no desire to replay it. There should have been some path you could take to defeat the Reapers without committing genocide. There should have been some path to save Shepard. Then there should have been epilogue game play where there was a big victory celebration like the end of Star Wars. Shepard could have gone around speaking to the various characters and tying up story lines. It would have been the perfect segway to expansions or ME4. Somebody really dropped the ball on this game, it's a shame. The first two were epic, some of the best scifi I've seen my entire life.
Welcome to the line! Cookies and punch in the tent to the left. Official Marauder Shields Merchandise on sale in the visitor's tent, there's a .50 cal turret over by the toilets if you feel the need to go let off some steam.
I agree with most of what you said, as do probably most people here. I loved up until the last 10 minutes.
I thought Kai Leng was a horrible character but made sense to a point. He got his way by cheating through life, he couldn't beat Shepard head on, had to bring down the temple around him/her. He was the perfect personifcation of Cerberus, they bought/stole their way to power and it enraged people even more because they were legitimately cheated from a fair fight.
I pretty much enjoyed the game, thought it was a masterpiece, up until that beam of light began Shepard's Ascent to the Citadel Kid. At that point nothing made sense, it didn't follow the rules anymore, it just sucked lol.
