I can appreciate the innate human need to categorise, but sometimes I wonder whether people writing about the internet ever have spent any time online. If only this place was as organised as they make it out to be <_<

I dare say we are organized: 80k towards charity & 1k of cupcakes for Bioware is pretty good. Especially if you look at the timeframes in which they were caired out.

The divide will be unavoidable, while those leading the groups might come to a consensus the real problem is on an individual level, we saw an example of this with the billboard idea, they believed they were doing the right thing, unfortunately it caused an instant split in the community.
I mentioned this before, it's like a game of chess, people really need to think ahead about each move and each counter move, in this respect you have more than one opposition, it's not just Bioware, it's the press, especially press outside the gaming community, they have little to no understanding of the passion involved, all they see is perhaps a way to sensationalize a story example being the Guy Fawkes reference, it may seem harmless until you consider Guy Fawkes by definition is a terrorist whether we agree with his actions or not.

See, I'm not even press and I just turned Retake into terrorist, I don't believe that for a moment before you shout at me, but that's how things get out of hand.
