While turning the game on, I just loaded up a random save and ended up doing the mission where you go save Zaal'Koris. And aside from seeing that seeing you get the exact same turret fight regardless of who you save, I noticed that when you're disabling the AA guns, they show some 2D sprites of birds circling the towers. 2D sprites. It felt like I was playing N64 again.

I don't mind it I guess. It's hardly the most egregious shortcut they took in the game, and I've come to expect crap like that now. I'm even sure I would find a lot more if I looked, but I'm just happy I don't have another reason to have to turn the game back on any time soon.

Oh it gets worse...

Look at this.

For some reason I'm finding witcher 2 on dark difficulty hard to put down lol, new items etc is refreshing (stepped over to ME3 for my contribution/some MP matches atm though)

I plan on doing that game on dark soon, ME3 already got my single player contribution for the day.

It's supposed to be for SP not MP (unless that's exactly what you're saying, lol)

Yeah, I remember that video, lol. But as a Vancouverite, I can vouch for Bioware that the large majority of us are indeed 2-Dimensional.

Good afternoon line! How goes the switch on/off stuff? I deliberately spent the morning not on BSN just to do my part, it's still here so I'll assume it wasn't apocalyptic for me to do so (:

Unfortunately as part of that I forgot the order of the on/off stuff and I think I missed the on window lol... so I may just leave it off...I really have no desire to play it until the extended cut comes out anyway... I guarantee I'm not buying any DLC for it until they at least make my choices count in the ending and fix the stupid plot holes.

That's not even going into the MP glitch that left me floating into the air while leaving me in the middle of things in all of my teammates games and made me unkillable. According to one of my teammates, I was tanking an Atlas Mech on 2 seperate occasions. My teammates apparently got a lot of points shooting rockets in my direction...

Meanwhile I just kept floating higher and higher. Then things just got trippy

I already posted these earlier in the thread but here are some pics from my POV of this incident.

Well if the extended cut does make us want to play the game again (which is obviously up in the air), we probably won't have to wait long for the other DLC, given it seems there is some stuff they are holding stuff back untill the E C comes out

Well, they could make me happy if they have the extended cut have cutscenes of random journalists being cut down by Reapers

That's a somewhat new hope... if they want to attain godlike status again they'd have to go a bit above and beyond... have a journalist call someone an entitled whiner for saying a gun sucks and then have the 'entitled whiner'  give the journalist the gun and yell "Then you use it".... followed by said journalist being promptly vapourized by a Reaper.

Seems like you're doing it right ;-). The plan is to turn ME3 on some time on Saturday and to leave it off the whole Sunday which also includes the BSN forums!

I "played" 5 minutes to contribute today but I couldnt do anything beside standing at the bridge and stare. It was just too depressing.

So just remember: If you want to contribute to the campaign, just stay away from anything BioWare related tomorrow ;-)

Does seem extra quiet today. Wonder if others are doing what I've been doing most of the day and that's taking part in the beta test of GW2.

I did start another playthrough on ME3 but got to Mars and just couldn't go on any further. At least I did my switch on part.

Sorry a bit late but Ajna and I have been playing GW2 as well!

Surely we should use the forums as much as possible though? Hosting bandwidth and electricty are not cheap

No, that's how you do it, lol. But they also say they want you to tweet EA/Bioware, except it seems to me they haven't linked to what account they want you to tweet to exactly.

I've spent all day refreshing this forum during the middle of the peak of the hold the line stuff there right after the press release came out, my cell phone data usage hit 37mb for that day lol.  Even if 1000 of us use it that's 3.7gb.. I can get hosting coverage for that for 37 cents and I'd be a lowest tier user.  EA probably orders in terabyte tiers and have, most likely, already paid for this month's anyway, so you're really just using what they already paid for and wouldn't use if we weren't on here haha.

The extraction zone, you're going the wrong way.

But the worst glitch that happened to me was when some random geth froze. He wouldn't move, and somehow also became invincible. So the team couldn't move on to the next round because we couldn't kill him.

I just turned on ME3 for a little while. I'm on the citadel right at the beginning, I really don't feel like leaving it...

I tried signing up for that Onlive service, I got a month of their playback bundle for 2 dollars, so I thought I'd try it. It is the worst thing ever invented ever! I've got some pretty good internet, and the games look like I'm playing them through a bowl of soup. I tried play Dear Esther, and it was so pixelated, it made it meaningless.

Then I tried playing some other games, but the client couldn't connect properly and the audio was gone.

Then it encountered an unexpected error and crashed like 30 times in a row, which apparently is a pretty big issue that tons of people have, but customer service doesn't know what causes it.

I wanted to try it to take my mind off of the ME3 ending, and it made me even more frustrated... What a terrible service.

Well I was not seriously suggesting we would cause a manual DoS attack but letting them off easy is not the way to go

Just to clarify.. there is a BIG difference legally and morally between getting on a forum at a coordinated time to make your voice as a customer heard, and a DoS (Denial of Service) attack.  A DoS you use ALL the bandwidth and prevent someone else from using the service... it's both illegal, and in this case morally reprehensible.  All that would be called for in this case would be us getting on at a certain time to show Bioware that we were still organized and here.   Sorry to come across harshly if I am.. it's just very easy for the media to pick up and blur the distinction even more so... (especially with some of the tech illiterate ones working at major outlets).  Last thing I want is to be labelled a DoSer.. it'd have implications on my career, security clearances...etc.

I know, by letting them off easy I mean doing nothing at all, even 37 cents of bandwidth is 37 cents less for ea but don't worry lol. If the forums really cost that much to run they would not be around, so people using them or not for a day is irelevant... Its like suggesting using too many napkins at a fast food resteraunt or somthing
