So we can't get the ending we want after all?

I'm really torn on whether I should pick it up. I've seen several reviews that aren't quite fond of it, but at the same time, these are the same reviewers who gave ME3 a perfect score, so they are invalidated from the get go.

NIce to have you back flu's a plain annoyance can't do anything with it. Never played Kingdoms of Almalur curse EA for eating all the best games still that why they are the biggest

It's an awesome game. The world is kinda bland. Not in a color way, Visually it's like if a rainbow and a My Little Pony had sex and gave birth, Kingdoms of Amalur would be the baby.
But lore wise, character wise, it's bland. The characters are forgettable, and basically all the same.
But the combat is crazy. It's probably the most fun I have had playing an old school rpg like this. And it's massive. I think it took me over 200 hours to do my first playthrough, and I didn't even do everything. I even missed a pretty big faction storyarch. I recommend it even if it is an EA published game.

Thanks.
Kingdoms of Amalur is a nice mix between roleplay and action. And there are some heavy rpg names in there. Quests and NPCs aren't that memoryable, but I really love the fighting engin. And that says a lot, since I was never much for liking the fighting in rpg. I bought Kingdoms of Amalur before ME3, but didn't finish it. When ME3 came out I had to play it.
And since I already payed for the game, I don't see it a problem of me playing it. I just can't stop drooling over the new DLCs :/

I agree, lol. I'm still not done with my first playthrough though. I just finished my first outdoor area in Klurikon.

Hmm I may well look into it in a couple of months but at the moment i'm all about Skyrim. Its so massive and Bethesda are probably the mother of all RPG publishers. Every game they make is pure gold even if it is a liitle buggy

Well thats still officialy in progress, and I doubt bioware will comment on it, so all they have is their own estimates of how many of their members did it, I think Jess said again that destroy High ems could be the see the crew again ending but nothing else

I've played a lot of Skyrim before kingdoms of Amalur. I needed a change of pace. I'm considering going back to Skyrim after I'm done with Amalur. Or I'll do something else. I'm not sure yet.
