Just came back from The Avengers. This movie was one of the two things I was most looking forward to this year, along with Mass Effect 3. Huge expectations for both of them. They ended up on polar opposite ends of the scale there though. Mass Effect 3 I've spent the last 2 months complaining about while scaring people off buying it. The Avengers on the other hand... My god was it awesome. It was everything I pretty much imagined it could be. Will be telling everyone I know to go watch this. Eveybody here go watch it.

I wonder if anyone ever tried to infect the Reapers with a computer virus... I mean, surely some script kiddies somewhere in the eons of history would have had the audacity to at least TRY it.

EDI did it on the Collector's and I'm sure she did it to a reaper at some point. Not sure about the average human though.

Yeah, EDI was part reaper tech though in her bluebox no? Which begs the question why previous civs didn't try it... being as all tech was theoretically reaper tech.. that would mean anyone with a knowledge of binary, and probably quantum computing should have some knowledge of reaper tech you'd think.

Nice to hear somthing positive from you for once.... for a min I was like "Did somone else get that avatar of what shepards photo to Tali would look like?" I'm going to see it soon hopefully
If it's something I didn't care about it in the first place, it's easy to move on and forget about it. Also, whenever I look forward to something at any level, I tend to enjoy it. That's because there's always a specific aspect that I'm anticipating, and as long as it touches on those expectations, I'll be satisfied with it. That's easy to do, as those things I'm looking for tend to be what the creators themselves created the whole thing for.
So for both Mass Effect 3 and The Avengers, I expected something that paid respect to what happened in the previous entries. Which stood as an epic culmination of everything that lead to this point. This one is not an easy task to fulfill, but it's something that we should have been expecting given the nature of the content, and the people involved in making it happen. One managed to do it like it aint even a thing, and the other struggled so hard that it seemed to intentionally do the opposite of it.
The last time I was truly disappointed with a game was Dragon Age 2, so I don't like the trend (it plays heavily into my negativity towards this game)

. Seriously, I do tend to give out praise pretty easily. I spend a lot more time telling people why I enjoyed something, rather than why I think they should be avoiding things.

That's one way to provide your partner with a threesome.
...and just to be on topic. The end of ME3 still sucks.

So is pretty much everything else in Asgard. Same with the Mass Relays. Though there's a big difference between establishing these things as a means to build your entire story around, rather than having them as a stupid single use justification for events that happen for the sake of abstract symbolism.Ohpus wrote...

This is what they meant when it was said you will want to keep your ME3 saves forever. You will be able to import them into DA3 !
