I can't remember which article it was, but it mentioned 'evangelist gamers' and how they are the essential part of any good game franchise. Anyone happen to have a link to that article? Or remember which one it was?

An unfortunate attitude, though it seems some developers have realised the current insta-cash-microtransaction model will kill their livelihood. I just wish the bigger companies got it too, preferrably before it's too late to save gaming industry. <_<

CD Projekt Red, makers of the Witcher games. We had this conversation about how awesome they are to their customers a couple pages ago. No DRM on their games, huge content patch for Witcher 2 FOR FREE, go out of their way to treat customers right, etc.
