Atrocity, it was a prequel to ME2.

I'll rephrase then. Why on earth did they keep Jacob's character?

Because they couldn't get Token due to his singing career taking the priority.

I used to get angry when I read articles like that.  Now I feel sorry for them as they don't get our Artistic Vision.

if they cut him out of the game then you can bet someone buttwipe would call the race card

While I do feel ME was white-washed a bit from the diversity of the first game, that'd still be ridiculous. Not everything has to do with race. Jacob is a lame-ass, boring character, with sucky skills to boot. Those traits stop me from seeing the colour of his skin quite effectively.

Like most "journalists" who attack us, the point of our protests go over his head.

According to him, we're unhappy with the ending because it wasn't happy enough.

Forget all the plot holes, the deus ex machina garbage, and all the loose ends flying in the wind, it's apparently just cause it didn't end happy....

I didn't know that's why I was so mad at Bioware....

Makes sense. They could've asked Cartman though. We could have got real dilemma and conflicting opinions on ME3 then, seeing how Eric and Starbrat share certain ideas...

Well if he can't do enough research to get Dr. Muzyka's name right you can't expect him to understand more complex arguments like that!

I wish unqualified people would stop writing articles about how the ending was just fine and "fans" (obviously used in a derogatory manner) should stop whining and just move on. Seriously Wayne, do you even know what you're talking about?

I like the word unqualified here. A good word.

The ending was aparently art, because it resembls something that people generally consider art. How it fits into the story isn't what carries any weight, no. It's all about how many metaphors something can generate. Doesn't matter if they don't reflect on the story in any way. I suppose fans like you just don't get the artistic nature of it all.... Ugh.

It's just a bunch of hipsters and contrarions that write this ****. And now I've learned to pay them no mind, especially if they're working out of some small town publication.

I suppose one positive thing to come out of all of this is that a large spotlight has been aimed at gaming journalists and how objective they truly are.

Hey, as a qualified hipster I resent that statement! I'm in process of growing an ironic beard!
But in all seriousness, when Waiting for Godot makes more sense than your ending, you've done something wrong. No, that's badly phrased... When Waiting for Godot runs more logically and breaks the classic narrative structure less than the ending to your story, which was built on that said structure, you've ****** up.

Hahaha... it's art... bad art.. art not really representative of the usual quality Bioware produces... but art nonetheless... oh and commercial art... but hey we don't want to sell our souls out... we just want to get paid and make stuff that people buy... .such entitlement :D

Are there any other kind of hipsters?

That being said, I've always thought the Volus to be the hipsters of ME. Of course there might be hipsterish members of other species as well, but something about that attitude of theirs... As well as their intonation, it just speaks HIPSTER to me.

I love it. Sadly never seen it performed though. My point being that as great as the play is, it relies precisely on not fitting to the classic narrative, using the absurdity with purpose and skill. It was meant to not make sense on the surface level. Unlike the ending, and still we got something that even Vladimir and Estragon would look at and go "Dude... what the..."

Also, I use the refenrence to reinforce my hipsterish status, as deliberately as I start this sentence with "also" to indicate informalness.
