Go celebrate it! Seriously. And don't say 19 is lame; 20 is lame. You're not a teen and you're not an adult either...

Ah but at that age we are still allowed to think everything is lame especially the ME3 endings

Oh to be 19 again. Not now - back when I was 19. I mean, to kind of be now me, back then.
Anyway, enjoy your jelly and ice cream!

Try 22, that's what I'm heading for. People expect you to have your own place, a relationship and education nearly done by that age, not to mention a steady job. <_<
edit. But happy birthday to you, enjoy it, birthdays can be cool :D

Happy birthday! :)

Happy Birthday...

You guys think 19, 20 and 22 are bad, I'm a month out from 42... then people seem to think you should have a solid career, kids, husband/wife, and quit with the video games.

I can't stand the argument from people of "Why are you guys so angry about BS science in your game about BS science?" Like I said in that post, there's a difference between establishing such things from the get go (the game has an encyclopedia for these things), rather than introducing them as a conveniant justification for a last second plot device.

Though another problem is that these people want to argue that the ending is grounded well in reality and the parameters set out by the series. The thing is that for the ending to work on any functional level, you need to remove it from that reality, and into a sort of metaphysical realm. The problem now being that now this metaphysical BS has no place in a series like Mass Effect, which has always been a series about accepting the literal. It may have been unknowing and mysterious at times, but its always been literal.

In summation, Space magic sucks.

Wisdom worthy of any great guru...

I realise how much I enjoyed the reccent marvel film when I remembered that I did not bat an eyelid at the very large flying machine utalised by SHEILD becuase I think they might have even invented the concept and they have always had one in all their previous comic appearences.... Usualy when a film has one I sigh in annoyance but this time... It was cool lol

My mom is 55 and she still plays video games, so...

(maybe not RPG, because she doesn't speak English, but she plays games like Sonic, Mario Party, Guitar Hero, etc)

Also, at that age everything is lame, but at the same time, you're always right! :P Happy bday nonetheless

I really don't see the future 'old people' ever not playing video games.. we've grown up on them and they're the new medium of entertainment... I see them like movies were in the 30s.... everyone goes to them now..

I'm not about to stop playing video games anytime until I can no longer sit in front of a computer and/or xbox.  That doesn't mean I don't get the "When are you going to quit playing video games and do something with your life?" on a regular basis.

You could answer you are just taking counter-measures against aging. There was this one study wich showed that playing video games helps prevent dementia and general neuro-damage caused by old age. And they were talking about full-action shooters like CoD etc, not just wii party games :D

I'm several months past 52, and I aint about to stop playing games, heck it's even more important to get the fun in as we get older, you know what they say about death and taxes.

About a year behind you, but apparently accelerating if my creaky kness are anything to go by.  And been on the absinthe all night whilst lazily ghosting the BSN.  Cheerfuly incompetent but slightly fuzzy, not that that's relevant. What?

Hopefully by the time arthritis kicks in we'll have robotic hands to game with. Or we'll be playing with our minds :o

Yes, but then that makes you a cougar as well. So the video games help you attract your younger prey. Image IPB

Here's a charming little nightmare for ya: Mind controlled games.
...which require Origin or other such DRM to run so that you won't even think of illegal things about the game.
