To change that in some 'what if' scenario , since the original ME was not set out to be "I am a warden first, dwarf/human/elf second" mentality the DAO had, just seems so damn fake and artificial. If BW wants to make a story how Wrex's great grand-mother saved the galaxy from the Rachni, that's fine, that's cool, that's something I might be interested in. Or how Asari commandos have subtly effected the outcome of many wars in the ME-versum, that'd be nice too.

I just don't see any way DAO style origin system could be implemented to ME even half-satisfactory way, because that's simply just not the way the story was written.


I wasn't suggesting that they change Sheps race but if they plan in the future to have another new story set in the ME Universe then it would be nice if as a player we could select a different race to play as the protagonist.

really? i got mine/opened mine last night and it was fine but then started having problems later in the night, not sure about now (they only gave me one pack too, i was supposed to get both packs <_<)

I know they were having trouble a while ago with Victory packs etc because people were finding a way to abuse the system and get loads of them. I think they're probably still trying to fix that so that it doesn't happen anymore.

It's just an ongoing trend with all BW patches at the moment. ToR patch broke it a couple of weekas ago, ME3 xbox patch broke something in ME3, and now the weekend event packs have broken MP across all platforms.

That was the last event hun, this time the problem appears to be Indra sniper rifle, or so the ongoing theory claims. I have no idea what's going on though, and by the sounds of it, it's not sure EA has either...
