My crap ideas for a Bioware and Creative Assembly (total war series) collaboration continue... before selecting Commander Shepard and ordering him into the beam, the AI adviser will inform you about the "Toggle Ignore circular logic" special ability, which if you fail to do you will get pop up messages informing you first that an allied general has been killed (Anderson) and then that your general has been killed (shepard). The Normandy will then rout the field of battle and be caught in the explosion at which point a pop up window with "Crushing defeat" will appear...

Yeah I am crazy

Exactly. Too bad some people can't keep their promises...*cough* not an A,B,C ending *cough*

And I do not play MP. I can't and I don't think I would like it.

True... I actualy have implied that if you do toggle the ability then it could be better... hmmmm, I can't imagine how that would play out though...

Well... In my head, after Shep is hit by the beam he/she almost dies, goes into a coma and ends up in a world like this Anderson is already magically on the Citadel, he can meet Starbrat...

It wasn't an a,b,c ending because their endings are marked A-1, A-2, and A-3 :P lol, and although I like MP now I hated it with a passion when it was first revealed, thought "something bad is going to happen now I just know it"

I dont really have a problem with them messing up the ending.
i mean **** happens in life, its possible some EA exec came and said
"Wrap it up we want our money now now now"

Its the way they handled the whole thing after ppl started complaing.
What turned this into a **** storm is disrespect with all the belittleing comments
how players are 'entitled whiny brats' how 'we dont understand their artistic vision'
10-15 years ago most ppl would have just ignored it but now many of us are in mid 20-30s
we dont have to take **** like that from ppl who's salaries we pay.

If they came out and said "We thought we did good, if you guys think its that terrible we can
get your feed back and try to fix it, its comuter code so nothing set in stone."

If u do something wrong and u own up to that. ppl usualy respect that.
but going "La-la-la you know noting, we are great blah blah blah"
well we got what we have now.
i am still in  -See how it turns out mode till summer-

This... The endings were dissapointing, but it was the initial reactions of bioware and parts of the media that made the "Fiasco"

I think it's all the game reviewers and bloggers claiming that this reaction was due to entitlement that really cemented the outrage in people's mind. Instead of considering, I don't know, that the ending might actually have been BAD.

I know we like to blame the evil reviewers for lying to us, but how many of us per-ordered the game, avoided spoilers, or would have probably bought it if  a review had said "the ending will crush and disappoint you beyond measure and make you feel everything you did was for nothing" just to see for ourselves?

I did pre-order the game (first pre-order ever!) and I avoided spoilers, I skimmed a few reviews a couple of days before release but never read beyond the first paragraph out of spoiler fears, and just looked at the scores. I did briefly go on bsn, but all I could see was complaints about characters who were killed being given basically identical replacements so their death did not really matter to the plot, but I thought I had made the "right" decisions so I would never see these stand ins anyway so I never saw the end coming...

Just imagined Harbinger as "Professor Chaos". Laughs were had.

This thread will never die while one soul still find the thread title fitting to their feelings for the game...

Of course it won't when I've arrived, but that won't stop me from exploiting the blessed solitude via song
