thats one of the ways i was thinking; bloated, and "Banshees are created specifically from asari with active or latent predispositions to becoming Ardat-Yakshi" is what i think codex says on them, but i figure they'd be reapered Asari in general with the bulk being Ardat-Yakshi alsoAtrocity wrote...
To me it looks more like a bloated corpse. One that has been in the water for some time.
And I never have thought them as Ardat-Yakshi only. To me they are reapered Asari in general.
So we can't get the ending we want after all?

Actually, it's the Asaris who are either Ardat-Yakshi, or those who have a predisposition to it that are transformed. The genes most be in millions of Asaris, but just latent; it does make for the numbers.BigglesFlysAgain wrote...

I think its just becuase there are a few at the A-Y prison/monestary, and mornith becomes a named one if you let her live in me2... but I think there are far too many for them to just be A-Y
Edit: Lol, Major Swift beat me to it.

Well genetically speaking, latent AY gene could be present in a lot of Asari, so yes, normal Asari as well.Major Swift wrote...

And the bulging/bloatedness makes sense, since there is not a lot of room for Reaper tech inside the body of an Asari, and that hardware has to go somewhere.

Still photographs are far easier than rendered character models. That's your reason. Unless you want to believe that it was entirely because they thought that little "momento" carried the most significance, and that they "didn't want to destroy the mystery".
Call me naive but in ME2 thru her mask you can see the outline of her face and nose and I honestly thought they had already had a rendered model of her face and was keeping it for those who wish to see it in ME3. How wrong was I.

I'm sitting here lmao at how they pretend it was some deep decision. I was angry when I saw the video the first time, but now I'm laughing. Maybe the same thing will happen to Mass Effect 3 for me. It'll become one giant joke I can forget about.

Well I imagine in any line of work its fun to overstate what you actualy did, I.e it took hours of drafting and revisoins to come up with this script (written on napikin) its just in this case its us fans who are upset by this, not an unimpressed boss

Huh? Asaris are human sized, and they fit Reaper tech quite nicely in the human husks. But it would make sense to have a big biotic amplificators stored in the Banshee's stomach area. It'd explain their upgraded strenghts and whatnot.Atrocity wrote...

Husks are just cannon fodder, so I guess Reapers just shove couple of batteries inside the human coprse and that's good, but Banshees actually have skills. And a vacuumcleaner. That'd fit nicely inside their stomach as well.
