Well I am sure in at least 18 months we will have a better idea what actually happened with the development, but no one will really care by then...
Depends on if they try to get us to buy ME4....

I never realized that "artistic vision/integrity" means "shamelessly steal other people's work and then slightly alter it a bit and claim it to be unquestionable art".
Good artists create. Great artists know when to steal. Of course, that assumes you don't get caught.

No MS didn't leak anything about MP - it was guy on chan4 - next day he leaked about the truth.......the pictures he put out for the MP - everything he said about it; we've gotten completely......
As I said; on paper it looked like a insanely brillant plan - I ran it by my dad who was a CFO - EX VP of a major fortune 500 company - he was the number 2 - he used to tell the CEO no you can't do that LOL.
He said - actually on a paper it would look like a good plan - it would have risk - of course; but if pulled of it would be major PR victory - but he also said major issue with it - is customers as you never know how they will truely react.
That's why if you look at the good Doc's blog; when he said - they were surprised by the outcry - he meant; they were generally surprised on how many disliked it......
There is a lot more I can list that keeps this going; but Mike did say on this tweet - they've been working EC before the game release -as it is now it was kind of one of their speciality tweets of say something that could mean different things from various points of view, im not sure i could believe they were surprised at the number of people that would be hating it though as if i were them i would have known a huge chunk of people wouldn't like it/known how alot of people would react at the ending haha, you've got a solid viewpoint though/a good one, even though i disagree
(mainly because i think it would just be horrible to find out they did this to us all on purpose as all the hell its caused can never be undone lol)
edit: though there are some lies with the MP thing as well, SP part makes no sense either (wouldn't expect anything less from 4chan) "One race that isn’t shown is the Prothean Adept and Vanguard"
Prothean is supposed to come with the truth

And after I got everything in order, Norman's update decided buggy firewalls are kewl, and now claims at random intervals that the firewall is not on, ergo, I can't browse on internet, even though there is nothing wrong with the connection.

nothing major wrong yet, wireless wont work but updates should fix that( i hope), a non wireless laptop is about as much use as the ending of ME3.

Sticking to that PR nonsense of "being proud" of that is rubbish. They have every reason to be proud of their games, and especially the ME franchise. But no one can be proud of copying an ending and cutting a great game short to finish quickly with a copied ending. It's pretty obvious that the ending was rushed. And they admit it in the authorized "The Final Hours". Mac Walters tells that they had no ending up until the very end of the schedule, and that Mr. Hudson cut a lot of what they intended and came with that copied ending.
BW should know better. They should come clean and make it up to the fans. And not embrace a PR excuse and give us "closure through explanation" for a bad, copied ending!!!

It's hard not to feel that the lack of communication between BW and their games' fans is at least a bit disrespectful. They should feel that, right now, they lost a lot of respect and admiration. And it's only obvious that a big expansion to ME3, or at least a great collaboration in getting what the fans deserve for a decent ending. And by now, of course they acknowledge that the "Deus Ex" copied ending wasn't worth of BW and ME.

We wil just have to wait and see, I don' like the silence but its probably for the best that development for the EC is understated, they realised they can't just say things that don't turn out to be true and not get called out on it.
So they say nothing

Yes. But is it so hard to tell the truth, or come clean on the development of something that cause so much pain to everyone, fans and developers?
I understand the secrecy behind a new game. It's quite obvious and expected. But for something that could bring rapprochement???
What strikes me as obvious is that companies like BW were not prepared for something like this. And they still don't know how to act. So, they go back to their normal modus operandi, but this is not good for every possible development. For this case, especifically, it's very bad to do that. It only hurts "consumers x developer relation" further.
What they needed now, it seems, is to hire someone from outside, who would renew the company, and make them do it right for the fans. It would make it right for the company on the long run. Pleased customers equals more $$$, more fame etc. BW came to be synonym for great RPGs, with players making big and relevant choices. Not anymore, or course. How could they stop fighting for that title?
