I sorta feel like they made ME3 for the multiplayer /new fans and to indoctrinate the single player to start playing multiplayer.(Spending more money on cheaper to make maps and battle packs)schwarzaj wrote...
You know, I really miss the old BioWare. That good developer that would make DLC packs that were for single player and made games that had good endings. Now we're stuck with the rEApers forcing multiplayer DLC on us and refusing to admit fault with a crappy ending.
Not kidding about the multiplayer DLC, btw. I just saw a rumor that the next DLC pack is called Rebellion, and it's multiplayer specific.
Seriously, when Activision and Treyarch manage to get my attention with a COD trailer that promises something new and different, then proceed to explain just how they've changed a franchise that was starting to get stale to something that is on my radar for X-mas, you have problems rEApers. I've come out before and said that BioWare and EA's handling of ME3 was going to come back to bite them in the ****, that their actions as of late would come back to haunt them. Let me tell ya, that time is coming a hell of a lot faster then I was expecting, and both BioWare and the rEApers better take notice. If they don't get their act together and fix the problems that need to be fixed, particularly the ending to ME3, then angry fans are going to be the least of their worries.
HOLD THE LINE!
So we can't get the ending we want after all?

Well doesn't seem like much has been happening from my quick flick through the pages I miss anyway.
I tried playing ME2 again last night, it's not going too well. I can't stay focused on it. My thoughts are always "Whats the point?" when I make decisions. I hate, HATE! that I can't play one of my favourite games because of a stupid ending to the series.

I fully understand, I'm trying to do a completionist play through and I just keep getting discouraged because of the ending... really annoys me to no end.

The narrative for the Jedi Knight does wrap up with a conclusion (and mini-epilogue) that finishes up the story arc quite well. I played through it during prerelease and enjoyed it, if it was a bit standard Star Wars fare. The conclusion of the epilogue sort of plays out in a way that would leave a standard single player game open for a sequel (which sort of seems like a segue into the endgame content or possibly future Jedi Knight story content at a later date).

Haha, it is a very long thread to follow. I probably ignored about 1000 pages or so. Maybe more. It is always good to see that Bioware isn't ignoring this thread (even if you are from the DA team).
But everytime I come back and see a Bioware sign on this thread, I can't help but think we are in trouble..
At over 3600+ pages, the only way I could see anyone getting in trouble is if they started ostensibly violating forum rules. Which no one ever appears to be doing in this thread. For the most part it reads like it's people meeting up for a daily coffee.

I guess its Safe to say most of the people here are commited to see the ME team become more seriously commited to their fans appeal for something that realy looks like an ending worthy of mass effect...just like you said in a few menssages before (if my english isn`t failing me right now) mass effect 3 should`ve been a bit more standard mass effect fare instead of something completly new and different
keeping the traditional stuff is good too, something i saw in many other games that made alot of fame around the world but lacked that thing that made its orginal title had wich made the game so symbolical
A good example is The elder scrolls and fallout series they didn`t change almost nothing only a bit of gameplay to be more adequate to the time it was release and thats all ! still epic till this day !
wish i could know more about why they are afraid to admit that...seriously...and it doesn`t felt they are commiting suicide at all btw.

Haha, count me in on that one. I just got my second play through to the point where I am supposed to attack TIM's base last Sunday just around 5pm (which was the time to start the turnMEoff period in my time zone). Haven't been able to touch it since then. Instead I went to gog.com and now I am replaying "Lands of Lore: Guardians of Destiny" because I can't bear to touch ME3.
I haven't looked at ME3 at all since I finished it.
Also can I just say your avatar though Cool makes me very angry (just kidding

I sit here some times and my mind just wanders with how much more they could screw up (with very few thoughts on how they could make it better with what we currently know) and at this point I just wanna play the damn thing with the hopes of just getting this "over with" I just want to know if I can just throw ME series into a dark corner of a shelf to never look at again, or if I can finally (unlikely) breathe easy and say "Okay Its good again."

Waiting is always bad. Waiting in the dark with no knowledge is always the worst.
Since i finished ME3, I've been on this board every day, Programmed a Grob 103, an F-22 and a Sukhoi Su-37 ( with thrust vectoring ) for FSX, bought three new to me rifles ( heh, i'm on fixed income. cant afford the good guns any more ), adopted two budgies, played another round of Fallout 3 and several other things to lkeep me focused on winning this battle for a complete and better ending. Hopefully by the time i have a new barrel stock and scope on the mosin nagant, they'll have released the ending dlc and i can determine whether i'll ever purchase from EA/Bioware again..
I want them in my life, but i dont need them in my life. theres a real difference there that i dont think they really understand any more..

Then it has served ts purpose.
Yeah well, I changed it in protest. If the EC is actually going to make things significantly better (and I am very skeptical about that), I'm gonna change it back to the original.

:-{ a friend reminded me how much I hate the ending when pointing out that The Witche 2 blew the whole game ME3 from the water...
That of course made me sad bc I don't feel well and can't even play my used-to-be go-to-game when I was sick (ME1).
