No, I always "die" offscreen, it turns out I crash land in some pine trees and leap to safety just before the crate goes up, or it was just a dummy in the cockpit, or I was thrown clear and landed in a lake, never parachute to saftey though, WW1 biggles never had one of those

Possibly in the more hip parts of the world, they moved on. Here in the midwest of the U.S. you can't walk into a coffee house without tripping over 8 of them banging away on angry birds on their ipad while texting with their iphone and listening to their ipod while cleaning their rectangle framed glasses that aren't prescription, drinking their mocha latte grande with a straw, and wearing sandals while they talk about the newest political satire coming from Stephen Colbert.

there was a news article i saw about how some game developers are now telling publishers like EA to f-off because publishers are now dictating what an indipendant game studio can and cannot do.

even some game studios who are owned by publishers are now telling them to f-off and leave them alone.

anyone remember the huge rockstar vs take two fuster cluck a while back.
take two tried to dictate to rockstar what to put in there GTA titles and how often they wanted them and on a tiny budget, it went as far as to try and fire staff from rockstar.

rockstar told take two to go f*** themself.

took over a year to get things smoothed over ......... then take two tried to SELL rockstar to EA.

but the problem here is this, take two was STRICTLY publishing ONLY they did not OWN rockstar they had a simple contract with them, a contract that runs out next year i think.

rockstar is a fully indipendant game company and they release games every 2-5 years depending on what game it is.

heres the CONFIRMED sequals games rockstar ARE working on
L.A noir 2
gta 5

here are the RUMOURED games there working on

red dead redemption 2
a new midnight club racing game

now L.A noir was GREAT but rockstar did say the game was massive, to big to include multiplayer, so big they actually left out multiplayer coding totally and when they thought about making a multiplayer add-on for it they found out it would be way to big for a download (roughly 8-10gig) because of the motion capture stuff

red dead i HOPE along with a LOT of people they do make is a direct sequal

red dead ending when marsdin storms out of the barn and targeting people (i actually managed to target all the ppl there) and shot them all then it faded to black then to where his sone has just buired his mum 20 years later.

what they could do is that marsdin survived the onslaught and he's out for revenge (undead nightmare if you look at the headstones are all decayed more as is the house so its like a further 10 years later)
