I think becuase he is on friendly terms with the EA guy he wanted to give him the benifit of the doubt but still he did go on. I think he meant the teleporting crew members, because without explanation that is impossible, while surviving an explosion while impluasable could happen given the right chain of events.

I kind of thought he was probably referring to the Synthesis, since as far as I can tell there is no way that can logically happen in any known universe.

Was tweeting with Michael Gamble on Twitter about the impact of character writers, like Sylvia, not having an input with the EC. His reply made sense, and I was mainly just not sure what he meant by the term "character voices". Anyway, when I asked for clarification he replied again (worded very similar to the first) and I noticed he deleted the original.

It's strange. The only difference is that in the first he gave the impression he might consult with people like Sylvia. So, maybe not so much consulting? Still, it's nothing big. Just thought it was a weird (unnecessary?) sequence. Wouldn't have been worth mentioning if not for the deletion/change.

I'm pretty sure it just means when they do a read, they have passable impersonations. So when they go through dialogue, they use their character voice, instead of monotonous voices like I would...

The latter, was my impression. It's probably a professional term. Like there are writer's that are very good at certain characters (For example: Sylvia/Liara, Weekes/Mordin) but their staff write for multiple characters. I.e. Sylvia isn't *needed* for Liara dialogue/plot.

And I'm sure he's right. I know there was dialogue w/Liara that wasn't written by Sylvia. Which is fine. I'm sure most of us fans are all in agreement about what we expect to happen. And I imagine the writers know too, since they created it (and especially given our feeback). Still, weird that he felt he had to change it. I asked him about, if he'd explained I wouldn't have thought it worth bringing up. I think it's important to know who/what they're bringing to the table with the EC.
