So we can't get the ending we want after all?

Seriously though can we please try and stay on topic, if i want a dating site i'll go to match.com. And as for the first major DLC besides EC will probably be Omega.
I agree about Omega though, it is so strongly hinted in the game, I'll be really surprised if it's not a major DLC. Even Shadowbroker DLC in ME2 was hinted more subtly.

I am still skeptical though (Not that they might do it but that it will be worthwhile) , unless cerberus starts building a super death ray there whats the point in wasting all those mercs you convinced to help you in retaking what really is a horrible place, while hundred of more deserving locations are attacked every day?
Given the ending they will also be in a terrible resupply situation if its pre ending

I guess I'm in the minority who wants to take it back. I like that place for some reason, though I will probably choke on my coffee if they make it pre-ending time-wise. No way would Shep run around saving Omega with Reapers attacking, nor would Aria ask for it. Didn't she quite clearly state that merc army was Shep's, well the support of Aria was Shep's to be precise, until Reapers were destroyed?BigglesFlysAgain wrote...

You trot down the club and Aria says its become vital that you retake omega now and not after the final battle, but she won't be pressed for an explanation.
You go there, have the inevitable combat with Cerberus forces, a few meaningless choices, and then you reach the inner sanctum (of course Aria has got there first taking her own route) and it turns out there is some ancient weapon in the center of omega (after all why else would Cerberus want it) and then you will have a stand off with Aria presumably resulting in either her death if you can't make her stand down of her newly found power crazedness, or not if you can. and you get the ancient device as a war asset, job done.

I really hope it won't play out that way. In my dreams the hypothetical Omega DLC will be post-ending (in those same dreams EC will fix the ending) and done with Garrus. I think I have said something about 'conquering Omega via sniper contest' before, and that's precisely the tone I'd like the DLC to have.

Scratch the part about Aria possibly living and it sounds sad enough to believe.
Of course either way Aria dying would create a hole whereby your war assets, I mean, legions of mercenaries have no reason to listen to you, but we've surely had too much solid logic in the game already to need more.

Well I put the part in with her being misleading as to why you should retake omega becuase it seems to be the standard device for bioware that nearly every side mission starts with a lie on somones part untill you discover the real reason...
And the loss of her war assets? Well there are plenty of instances in the game already where you can loose war assets through your actions, I.E the Krogan ect

What about us?we're not the only thread derailers, and believe me its hard not to get into that subject with the others here *points at Biggles and a few others* all the time when the perfect oppotunities arise lol

That being said, please don't, unless it's in a semi-related context

and about the whole thing, theres no question of whether it will happen or not/become DLC eventually as Aria is practically advertising take back Omega DLC when you talk to her about it haha

True and true. Well, all the more reason to work your rear off to make sure you come out with both sets of war assets. Wouldn't want to miss out on that golden ending would we?

I really do hope the EC won't fall flat on its arse, since I am so forgiving in other regards... If the EC makes our EMS actually matter, I'll work triple shift to get just the right amount, even if it includes DLC grinding.
....I hope they won't make the mistake of making non-free DLCs a requirement for 'happy' ending (if there will be a happy ending)...

I'm sorry, but you must pay to see this ending. It's a shower of golden coins into the pockets of BW HQ as you bow to the will of the epilogue text and buy DLC.

And how many times people need to be reminded that we do not know for sure yet?Zanza86 wrote...
Wonder how many times people have to be reminded that the ending isn't changing, it is just receiving more cinematics. All this pointless demanding and retaking did was delay the release of real content that we could play. Instead BioWare is now making cinematics their priority and we know you lot will complain about them as well because it doesn't explain the story of "your Sheperd" the way you want it to.
