the thing is your not being deprived of it, its being worked on and some of it will either hit before or after EC as there is still that DLC thing that got the Q/A signoff that no one knows what it is, and i'd think everyone could appreciate the EC in some way or another, its going to be more than some cinematics as that would ****** everyone off (sidenote- i doubt there will be a new companion, think Javik is it this time around)

hmmm, life support is still free right? :D. We better go around the goodbye part in london and look for a space our new companion might be able to loiter in before we say our goodbyes lol

So people complained that they rushed the game out, and now they are rushing some cinematics out. How exactly is that meant to be reassuring?

Please refer to my previous message. At this point in time we do not have enough information about the EC dlc to base an opinion on. All we do know is that they have stated it will be more than just cinematics and they are taking the time to do it right.

life supports free, the hidey holes free, kick allers out the airlock and that rooms free, AI core is free lol so many places to put one :P just put the place for loitering right at the turret so they can yell stuff at you during the random turret sequence, or right in front of the door to Anderson

Who said I enjoyed the ending? I would just prefer to have a reason to replay me3 seeing though I got the ultimate mega super fun time greatest of the titans endings that you could get the first time round.

The way you're referring to us is what we call a "pro-ender".

At any rate, I got the "shepards breath" scene on Earth on my first try. Ends out being some super special unlock you get for doing all this extra work..and all I thought was "wow...thats it?". And it killed the game for me after that, with all the plot holes and destroyed storylines in the end. Now, you at least see the end as being something you could at least live with...even if you don't enjoy the ending, you can still live with it (for whatever reason...I envy you for it).

Maybe we are the overly analytical types, or maybe we read deeper into the story to others...I'm sure for every "Retaker" here, they have a different reason for the ending to be bad to them. But we'd like an ending that makes sense, but to not take away from "pro-enders" or people such as yourself.

I am sorry if you feel that we have hindered your enjoyment of the game, but we'd like to enjoy it too. We enjoyed the rest of the series (or even loved it).
Now, BioWare has stated that they wouldn't cut back on other DLC for EC...so you'll still be getting what you want, either way. That is a certainty. What is not to certain is if we will be able to enjoy the game with you (especially if EC is a bust).

Try to look at it from both sides. Some of us have attempted to (hence the reason we wanted "additional" content, rather than complete changes). Also, only a month or 2 left, then everything will be back the way it was for you...so you needn't worry yourself too much mate.

Everyone is entitled to their own opinions with regards to the game's quality. I did not have a particular problem with the game as a whole, my issue is with the ending, however not everyone on this thread will agree with me. This doesn't invalidate my opinion anymore than me disagreeing with your dislike of the EC dlc does yours. I simply ask that you stop being quite so provocative in your statments. We're more than happy to debate the merits of different points of view but there is no reason to try to rile people up.

I thought you had a problem with the prospect of people complaining about the cinematics? If any complaining happened this would likely be why.

Anyway, it isn't necessarily reassuring. Some people are optimistic. Some are sceptical. Some are withholding judgement until we know more than what Phoenix has told you.

Can't argue with that...although, just giving in whenever a company makes (to some consumers, at least) shoddy products isn't the way to do things. So we won't give up and we will try to remain hopeful that something good comes from BioWare.

Black Ops 2 has put Anonymous in as the "enemy". So all COD games or related products don't impress me at the moment. Then again, they havent since Black Ops 1 and MW2.5 (aka MW3).

I really fail to see a point in any DLC, given the fact that Shep is as dead as fried chicken. None of their DLC will change the ending will it? Whats the point in a DLC after I am dead? It will be hard for me to participate.

So if they make the DLC happen in the storyline before the ending - it will still be the same outcome. Death, and a horrible one - with the galaxy in ruin, all while Joker flies off with my woman and gets to ball her out every night.

Yep. You're definitely not alone in this opinion.

It literally makes no sense to have a DLC at all.  They closed to book, ended the story - and did so in the most offensive way they could.  We asked for a better ending - and all they said was "Artistic integrity, have a good day sir." while they counted the millions they made off of us.

Do they really think I am going to buy more product after I got harshed like that?  Besides, of course, the fact that any DLC will not affect the ending of the game - my runthrough had had over 7K assets.  None of our efforts will matter, none of the side quests in ME2 matter - and basically none of ME1 mattered.  We play the Kobayashi Maru scenario - no matter what you do, how hard you try, you get the same ending.

I see no reason at all to inflict more savagery on a wound that is festering by purchasing more.

Skittles come in colours not supported by the Mass Effect 3 ending. Your possession of them was therefore deemed unacceptable.

they didn't just close the book, they slammed it shut then put gasoline on it and lit a match, and im with Kirk I don't believe in the no win scenario so where is my option to cheat/rig it to win :P
edit: i have no plans to buy any of the DLC until i see how the EC goes

Found them. Although I have not put all the other colours into witness protection untill I go to eat them...I don't want BioWare making them vanish before they get eaten.
