Yes I think you did! No I was off doing some skid pan training this morning - lots of fun! It seems I came back at the right time though.Atrocity wrote...

And g'day Phoenix, you weren't here last time I was, right?
So we can't get the ending we want after all?

Found them. Although I have not put all the other colours into witness protection untill I go to eat them...I don't want BioWare making them vanish before they get eaten.
Considering he'd most likely be paranoid of swords by now (after god knows how many people stabbed him with his), he won't come here. I have a sword collection...it's illegal to have a gun collection here (outside of farms), so I went for swords instead...

I can lend you a book to throw at them if you want to. I have the vol 1 too, but a word of warning, you will have to work out and lift weights in order to be able to throw them.BigglesFlysAgain wrote...

they didn't just close the book, they slammed it shut then put gasoline on it and lit a match, and im with Kirk I don't believe in the no win scenario so where is my option to cheat/rig it to win

Well it will be time to throw the book at bioware if the EC is bad lol...
To much books!
These might teach devs something about narrational consistency too.

Apart from Omega DLC, any other ideas what might be in store for us (MP DLC aside)?

damn, as i only have ideas of what a MP DLC may be lol (collectors as a new enemy, new guns, and a few new maps) wild guesses that are more than likely wrong= something to do with Shiara as she just vanished, something that takes us to Illium, can't really think of anything else atm lolAtrocity wrote...

Hmm, I think there might be Palaven related DLC and Eden Prime Resistance related. Both of those could be done to be pre-ending. And if post-ending, I guess Shep might have to kick Balak's arse againMajor Swift wrote...

Seeing how he was slightly pissed off about Arrival. And rightly so I might add.

That's the problem, we do not know if the book is closed or not, the endings are just too vague, I look at the breath scene and think "That's it?"; maybe Bioware just wanted to close the book with a tiny glimmer of hope, but that just leaves people hanging in the air, and if Shepard really did survive, they got a lot of explaining to do.Major Swift wrote...

I just had an idea that the EC will make everything play out as normal, and when the stargazer scene comes the little child will start whineing "Thats it? what about all the fleets that came with him to earth, did they die?"
Stargazer: "Erm, well, no, I just wanted you to use your imagination thats all, its time for bed now..."
Kid: "No, i am not going to bed until you finish the story properly"
Stargazer: "Sighs"
*cuts back to scene of shepard rising up lift to crucible...*

So, like how dieing in Prince of Persia played out.
"Wait.. that's not how it happened..." lol

Nice to see this thread still going. Pretty much gave up on ME after this so I havn't been on BSN for over a month. Been remembering the joys of DA:O. What's the latest on all this? If anyone feels like getting me up to date....Any news on what extended cut is? Or anything..
Been hinted that Destroy high ems is best ending if you want to see you crew again, but thats not really a suprise...
And they have said a lot that the EC "will speak for itself", so there won't be large Q and As about what the endings mean after that, nor will they say whats going to happen upfront.
Aside from that not much

So they are still being cryptic while saying bugger all then really. OK, thanks for the info.
