I remember J-M said on twitter after being asked what bioware would do if EC does not make most people happy, and she said they would "Cross that bridge when they come to it", We should really do the same at this point, the Die have been cast theres not much more we can do than remind them we are still here.

I understand they want to ensure the EC-DLC will be made with consumers in mind, but frankly they are beginning to come off as annoying. And if the people who agree with them are beginning to become annoyed, I shudder to think how outsiders perceive them, and by association, rest of us. Nor do I see any point to these things. BW has said what they are doing to rectify the situation, and that's all we in my opinion can ask from them.

Completely agree, we really need to give Bioware a chance to fix what is wrong, which is what they're supposed to be doing right now. I think we need to stay in our holding pattern until such time as we find out what's really going to happen, which will be when we know what is in the EC.Phoenix NL wrote...

Actually from a business stand point......no - only way to actually make sure a Corp one such as EA does actually deliver sometime that is said promised is to keep pressure on it. If you release said pressure; we will end up with someone that could possibly be worse than what we got originally.
EA only answers to its shareholders - thus does not actually care about their customers. Only time they do is when large amount of said customers complain and keep the pressure on them.
This is also advice my father gave to me after discussing this situation with him and for those that don't know or remember he was CFO of a fortune 500 company; ex vp aka number 2 in the corp. He controlled the money and used to tell CEO no
He said you want change - keep pressure on the company; not just through PR but through economics.....otherwise they can just sub it with something just as poor or do nothing at all......

I agree to disagree on this, we've got them to do something, if they fail to do what needs to be done, pressure can be reapplied, keeping the pressure up right now is doing nothing but making us look like they can't win no matter what they do, which in the end will end with us not getting what we want, because why should they care if in their minds it becomes a no win situation.MeldarthX wrote...

My dad is from the same background and while that's true in the broader sense, at this moment in time they are not putting financial pressure on the company, it is simply PR. The real pressure comes when dlc's are released and no one buys them. The risk right now is that by continuing with campaigns like this we turn the PR against us rather than keep it aimed at BioWare.MeldarthX wrote...

I don't necessarily disagree, but it's a thin line between righteous consumer pressure and being goddamn annoying, and HTL is pushing it. The fact their campaigns are really, really frequent is not precisely beneficial to their image either. I won't speak against HTL-ers and their campaigns (more than I have now), but I won't stand with them with these campaigns either.MeldarthX wrote...

By that time it will be too late - as economics of the won't allow them to go back for a second time nor do I think EA will allow them to either......
My theory from the beginning is they planned; this - they needed more time to actually finish the endings. I do think they can pull this off - but doesn't hurt to try and keep them honest

Yes but it really is too late now, the time to make your opionon on the endings known was in the weeks after, they are well into doing the EC and getting voice actors in now, even a mass suicide attempt would not help, so besides just making them aware we have not forgotten we can't do much but complain if it does not sort the ending out.

Nope. I think they should chill and just be vigilant.
Other companies are putting out Offerings for us (like Diablo III) and I have more games now than free time to play them. Give Bioware some breathing room. Let them take their time. If you rush them we can only expect more crap.
