So no one is talking about the Pro ME charity going on for Child's Play? I expected more outrage over an obvious bias.

I haven't heard of that myself. Can you fill me in?

If you have Me/2/3 liked on Facebook, they've been promoting the hell out of this:masseffect.g33kwatch.com/
And while charity for children is fantastic no way you slice it, this is defintely a PR spin, and if you are cynical enough, perhaps a shot at retakers and their efforts. I'm sure they won't cancel this one though :?

"Master Chief warping into the ME universe after blowing up the Death Star and finding out Darth Vader was his father and revealing Master Chief was Shepard all along as he exists in two worlds, blows up the Citadel and Starchild with a classy slow-motion explosion and falls to Earth, gets up and is fine after Hawke and his party walk by and throw him a heal on their way to the deep roads, then his squad comes running up to him and Shepard looks at Reapers falling from orbit/ exploding and says 'Didnt i promise you fireworks' and then afterwards they all party in the Ewok village where Anderson, Thane, and Mordin's ghosts appear and say a few things to him":lol::lol::lol::lol::lol:
I apparently/obviously have nothing better to do than to think up bs like that:P

Are these guys affiliated with Bioware in any real way? Because I'm still having a hard time grasping what that's all about.

But their review of the game made me lol at some parts (Not in a good way)

Same way as any review site. Except Mass Effect and Bioware are advertising this event on Facebook and Twitter. This is a fully sanctioned event by EA/BW. Its all the same things Retake was doing with Child's Play but since its endorsed by EA/BW it is allowed to go on. Even after CP said they would no longer get involved in such political events. Shameful for both Bioware and Child's Play.

They are just another group of EA Boot lickers. Willing to jump on any wagon with enough money on it. They will forget about Mass Effect 3 soon enough. I never will. It will be fixed. If the Bioware people like it or not. Only a matter of time, because as it stands, I rather play LJN games.

Still has a better ending than mass effect 3...

Well, it appears that they had the Child's play thing planned well beforehand, so I don't think it was meant as an afront to retake's efforts. Though with Bioware's PR pumping the event as so, it could be a knock against it on their part.

Allowing such events while denying retake is completely hypoctitical move on the part of the people in charge of Child's Play... but I was already aware it was just BS politics when they stopped accepting Retake's money in the first place. It doesn't surprise me in the slightest.

Hmmm, maybe we will have to dispose of retake, like Hitler disposed of the SA after they were no longer useful to him... Lol, history is always much more fun than what ever I think I want to do... In fact I could even write an essay on the primary causes of the me3 ending disappointment, making sure to weigh in all the factors and come up with a conclusion... maybe I should wait a while, so I have all the evidence, yes that's the reason I am not doing it right now...

Procrastination. Hard work pays off late, laziness pays off now :P

I think the reason is quite obvious. Devs lied and built up false hope. People took it personally because THey were Shepard. BW asked people to play how they wanted, make Shepard look like them, RP as them and then BW killed them with no alternative options. Subconciously people took it as a personal attack.

Hmmm tis an Explain question this one...  for a for and against I would need a different question, What were the primary factors that caused bioware to release the extended cut? Of cousre for that one I would need to make sure it was not planned all along (unlikely now) but it certainly would make me look stupid doing a 10'000 word write up and it turns out all my factors did nothing... lol

Peer pressure essentially I think. EA was taking a lot of heat and had been voted worst company in america. They needed to give themselves a quick PR boost. Offer Extended cut DLC that no one asked for and say you're giving fans what they want. You're news sources paint you as compassionate and you don't actually have to fix anything.

Obviously EA would have the final say, but I kind of meant what was the biggest source of pressure on EA that made them do anything, potential paragraphs I would explore:

General Fan discontent

Focused Fan protests

Media coverage

Well considered critiques

Returns of the Game

Obviously these general paragraphs would have smaller things within them, quite general...

Still don't know why I am doing this, far too late to be thinking of anything other than bed...

Fans asked for a better ending. EC may perfectly provide that. So this "no one asked for EC" thing is just BS

Unlike the current ME3,is the Avenger movie good enought to buy the old single hero movies that lead up to it?

Rent them at the very least, because there are a lot of things you could miss out on if you didn't watch them before watching The Avengers. Beyond that, however, they all (save for the inclusionary remake of The Hulk, which I haven't seen) are well worth watching on their own merits, especially Captain America.

As to your question: yes, The Avengers is indeed that good. Since the previous movies serve as prologues, this film can jump right into the action—and it certainly does at that.
