Hey you, welcome back! Sorry to hear about the tv but I didn't think you were purposefully blanking me... there were no tears and I didn't rock myself to sleep at night thinking you didn't love me anymore.....firstarioch wrote...
Hello everyone !!1
Hope al of you are ok...
Havent been here for a while...
I see that Phoenix has taken over the duties od Mr Bond?..posting articles links etc...
Has he left us ?
how is everyone ?
Accepted your invite on XBox LIVE Phoenix but My tv has broken down...
It looks like negative picture ...lol ..all colours are in negative ...So I cant play anything on consoles...
Only PC... But I played ME series on PC anyway ...
Well its 8th of May 2012 and we are still here...lol ...wonder if we get special tags or something for this... doubt it ....
Nota bene I advise everyone to read an article on Eurogamer :
http://www.eurogamer...vs-the-monsters
It tells a story of a great developer FRee Radical who was forced to close because of Big Publishers ...etc it tells a story of how the Big Ones like EA conduct business...SHOCKING TRULY SHOCKING...
FEEL sorry for BIOWARE as they are in a same boat....
MUzyka will regret selling off to EA...foolish decision.

Bah, waste of effort. I live forever so petty power squabbles mean little to me. With eternal life comes great responsibility blah blah blah.Fallenfromthesky wrote...

As much as I like the books I find Tolkien's writing style makes for a very hard read. I've read the LoTR series a few times and each time I wonder why I put myself through it lol. That's probably why I never finished the Silmarillion.firstarioch wrote...

I have a tradition that every year I read all three it make my new year excellent but yeh I agree with Phoenix that Tolkiens writing style is sometimes difficult to follow

If you like good fantasy than let me reccomend you some of the best I have ever read:
Roger Zelazny : amber series.. Chronicles of Amber ..simply amazing....battle of chaos vs amber.
another of his books which is amazing is Lord of light. influneces od indian mythology plus technology. One of the veey best books i ever read.
than you have :
Michael Moork****s: Elric of Melnibone.. read all .these books are incredible .struggle between Chaos and Law.
And if you like dark fantasy than you cant miss Karl Edward Wagner and his Kane series.
Simply the best fantasy I ever read. if you can get hold og them as they are expensive now.
frank frazetta illustations from 70s illustrate Kane the best.there are 2 volumes of his works now on Kane but are expensive.
Ursuala K .Le guin . Eathsea trilogy.stay away from later novels as they are cheap cash ins and very very poor.
William King : Gotrek & Felix .very Dark ,humorous and amazingly written books,.Great Series as well.

Been busy as well and now I have a new fanfic idea to work on/plan things out (main reasons why I've been lurking lately with the occasional string of posts lol) I feel like I've been here for ages though, have avoided burning out somehow lol, and I'm in camp "hopeful for EC" so I think they'll pull it offfirstarioch wrote...

All those books I have given you are fantasy but not childlidsh .
They are mature books amazingly written .most of the contemporary books s just rehash of old stuff or aimed at teenagers etc .and I lost interest in the genre now .old school stuff is amazing but fantasy has become aimed at youth market which is a shame .
I personally read science fiction now .more mature and more varied .
Fantasy has become terrible in writing ....
Funny enough on tv is much better ..!!! Who would have thought 10 to 15 years ago ...
