Aye... Ive heard people talking about how there's a difference in the way the relays blow up... According to them, the explosions are different when they're triggered by beam of space magic... And they only wipe out solar systems when hit by asteroids...Kyria Nyriese wrote...

Joking aside, I did come to the conclusion after actually thinking about it. Weighing pros vs. cons of the game along with what should've and shouldn't have been in there, I came with "meh, it was kinda mediocre/disappointing". Factoring in that it was supposed to be the epic finale of my favourite series made by a developer I liked and completely trusted, and it turns into "I hate this stupid game"... so, yeah. lolPhoenix NL wrote...
Well one must always try to objectively view and discuss both sides of the argument.g_bassi13 wrote...

From what I figure, the only real purpose of ME2 turned out to be that Cerberus is something that exists and is relevant. Nothing about their motivations or purpose or anything (which gets changed without any semblance of transition), but just the fact they exist. And also that I guess you had decided to willingly side with them (even if you never did).
That's what ME3 managed to reduce ME2 down to. Did I ever mention that I hate ME3? lol.

I could blame the classes, but honestly I have little to no idea how to play weapon based class and team. GI not counting, my GI is there only to do some CC by killing everything on sight. And he can see further than other peopleGoodwood wrote...
The insta-kill enemy attacks being a load of bollocks aside, it was fun.
As for your playstyle, I'd have to lean toward the latter, but that's coming from the point of view of a rank amateur who is a good supporter but not really all that great on his own. I would in turn ask you what you thought of my playstyle and where I could improve, as well as your opinion on my sexy manly voice...
With adepts it's so damn easy, you just tie yourself to the nearest other biotic and prime and detonate.
...It probably doesn't help I can solo silver with my Batarian (he is called Tim) either. I tend to run and kill kill kill, what other players, did I have a team? Well not after this mission I don't, since I'll sell the survivors to slavery anyhow.
And you did good. I should've played a biotic myself so your sentinel would have had something to do, since it's pretty damn boring to play the only biotic on the team. I can't remember you ever charging after my GI when I was capping, which is awesome. I don't appreaciate big manly soldier drawing the fire to me when I'm capping cloaked. As for improvement, I have only general advice to give. Stick with the group as much as possible, prime and detonate if possible. Cover the flanks. Not that that's precisely easy when the teamwork is... non-existant and Tim is soloing 3 Atlases
Can't say the teams were the paragon of strategy, and since I don't talk, as you noticed, I'll take the blame for that. Having played mostly in good gold teams I actually know the usual valid strategies for maps, as well as most team strategies. As in, which class should pair up with which.
....I really should use mic more, just letting people know I'll try to draw aggro while Batarianing around, so they can move as an unit to the flank of the enemy...

You played the portal games? My first game I played after me3, the simple joy of firing coloured portals and not worrying two much about galactic destruction helps a lot
I didn't. I admit that I needed someone to say that they were good. Thanks. I'll try those.
And I recently got over the loss of the will to play games myself. I did it playing LA Noire, and Alan Wake, so that itself confirms it had nothing to with Mass Effect 3's ending being sad, but rather the game on the whole just being so crushingly disappointing.

Yes, but that's really nothing. Most of the guys I play gold with can solo gold with Asari classes. I think one guy can even solo gold as a Drell... I can only as an infiltrator, and that's only if the objectives don't hate me with passion.Goodwood wrote...

If by good you mean incredibly weird, then yes. I have never killed a boss by shooting a tube of lipstick at it outside of that game.
