I have faith in Rockstar, but a switch from film noir type of story to what MP3 seems like is a big change. I have no relationship whatsoever to MPs myself, never played them, only know what I have seen in my friends' playthroughs. And heard from radio in the form of the Poets of the Fall. 

The noir type story is Remedy's trademark. Seeing as they did the same thing in Alan Wake & that they are no longer at the helm for MP3 the change was necessary, I think. I suppose the wait&see tactic is the only thing that will clear my disjointed thoughts up.

I'll pass that one, thanks, I'm more of a bear type of girl. And I could argue bear was the original totem spirit of Finland, but that would set my off-topic sense off again.

...do tell how it was like. Max PAyne 3 is considered something of an abomination among my friends. And after seeing how much they've changed the game from the MP1 and 2, it's hard to disagree.

I will tell you how it is next Tuesday, when I play it. As for the changes, I remeber people saying similar things about GTAIV before it came out. Thus far, Rockstar has shown that they can change their games without breaking them or ruining what made them great.

I've enjoyed everything I've played from Remedy (like I was saying, I'm actually in the middle of playing Alan Wake right now), but I think it's only fair to give those guys in Vancouver a chance to show what they can do with the game. Bully was supposed to be a fairly good game, though I haven't played it myself.

@Biggles: I haven't yet finished LA Noire, so thanks for that. You're lucky that I was already hit with that spoiler, lol.

Hi all, it's been a bit since I posted, I went a few pages back but didn't see any updates, but that could be just the thread moving fast. I saw that the VA for Garrus has confirmed he's doing more lines, do we know if anyone else has confirmed or have there been any other updates on the extended cut recently?

Raphael Sbarge has confirmed as well as EDI's VA (I can't for the life of me remember her name).  I think there was an article some where that said most of the VA had gotten call backs.

Oh, well that's what I get for coming into the thread without context.

I try not to think about Dead Space 3 getting the same treatment as Mass Effect 3.
