salutations fellow formumites finally torn myself away from minecraft long enough to say whats up. Watched the vid linked earlier and I loved it that guy has really nailed the problem down. Can't believe i'm saying this but anyone else remember when DLC was just that a extra few thing to make the game better rather than sale of an integral part of game content.

I've used it so often since they started releasing that crap on twitter where they hinted at retconning all the consequences that come with destroy (lol, artistic integrity!), that I actually started slapping a trademark sign at the end of it.

But I also have to stick around for what I expect is an inevitable **** storn when the DLC is revealed to be a stupid piece of **** that didn't do the goddamn thing it's ******* supposed to. Should be fun. Unless people eat up the explanations and stupid "happy" ending, in which case I'll have lost more faith in the gamers themselves rather than Bioware.

Kinda, got a letter from my phone company saying they can't change my service because I don't own my number... Had to sort that out today, and they said my new SIM card should have been functional for the past 10 minutes. After all the bother this new iphone has been, I'm beginning to feel like it was less trouble trying to get BW to react to the ending debacle

Yep, I think that guy and I would get along wonderfully if I knew him in RL, a lot of what he said reminded me of years ago and how I did go through a game just because I unlocked new things or harder difficulties or to play local co-op with friends(you have no idea how much I use to play Champions of Norrath on my ps2 lol, was one of my favs) I can see now that if I'd played baldurs gate dark alliance if it had been released with how things are now that the couple of secret characters I unlocked for doing things would be DLC only, its horrible, those are just a few of things ive played to death for reasons like that
Edit: I also played Bard's Tale to death if anyone here has played that

Hmmm thats why I never change my phone until it breaks and I palm it into a wall. Fun times

My iPod broke, and my phone is around 4 years old, so I had to change to a new one. The service provider just promised it all would be sorted out today by 16:50 *sighs*

Is that even possible? Atleast the phone company must be addressing the issue. Unlike some other companies that I know.

Thats part of the reason I still occaisionally play Halo Reach, to unlock the extra armour sets. Its basic human responce to enjoy being rewarded rather than told buy to unlock whats the point in doining it in games you don't buy belts in kung fu you earn them, you don't buy experience you earn it. They are all reward for achievements.

Apparently it is. The number has always been mine, as in, my name on it, but the service/contract/whatever was up until recently owned by my mum, so apparently they had old information or something. Go figure how that's possible, since we have had the same provider for nearly 10 years now.

I also used to be addicted (still am to a degree) to star wars battlefront 2 *starts remembering the bard's tale after mentioning it in edited post* think I'm going to play that for a bit seeing as I still have it/my ps2 lol *knows he'll end up playing everything else he mentioned too*

I always loved playing co-op on battlefront one... ah the load screen... boop boop boop, booop booop booop, baarp... boop boop boop...
