Ahm, so they can fix the War Assets issue? 

If they think I've forgotten, I haven't. Those numbers have to be fixed, or how else are people supposed to get the breathing scene when EA shuts down the MP server?

I agree mostly with Astralify here. While I don't think MP was the direct cause for the failures of the game, I also do think that it is a symptom of the overall problem. Yes another dev team did the MP, however, what if that time and money had instead been allocated to the SP dev team? I don't know anymore. The more and more I look at this the more and more this seems like a system that is starting to spiral out of control. In the end the players are the ones that pay for it.

I guess we'll see how things play out as they go, in reality it's the only thing we can do. I just know that right now the deeper I look at things, the more a think about them, the more glaring issues with the industry as a whole are becoming apparent to me. I'm not someone who is uninformed but at the same time I don't tend to go looking for issues either - if that makes any sense. So for me to be seeing the issues, that means something is probably going to come to a head soon.

The fact that I'm now looking for them I think depresses me more than the fact that they are there at all. I know that's sad, but sometimes I wish I could go back to not knowing, not understanding, not seeing. Ignorance truly is bliss sometimes.

Also for the record, I am pretty much in a dark mood today, so I will try to refrain from posting to much.

Being done by a different dev team is irrelevant. it took resources away from the SP game. Resources that may have been the deciding factor that gave us this ending, and resulted in a rushed product. The success of MP gives them more excuses to focus more on MP and less on SP story.

It also gives them an excuse to try and nickel and dime us more.

I have yet to see any evidence, or even educated guesses with reasonable arguments for this. It is in no way assumable that if there was no MP, the SP would be better. And MP being deciding factor to the ending? ...everyone has their opinions. 

Summa summarun,
I shall continue playing it myself until someone gives me a good reason not to.

 As a sidenote, while the conversation has been polite so far, I don't precisely appreciate the tone it is slipping towards to.

That's exactly how I feel. They spent money on multiplayer; money that could've been invested in the SP dev team. Yes, different teams, but the money for MP had to come from somewhere and instead of going to the main game, it went to MP...

And I will tell you how EA sees this:

Ok. Looks like the players prefer to play the MP insteed of the singleplayer to get their money's worth out of the game. This is SUCCESS! That means we will be making more MP DLC because that's what the people want (think is worth the money). And of course it's a LOT cheeper than developing SP. Double WIN! EAt this you chumps!


And that also reminds me of the Day-1-DLC and how angry we were. And how this crossed the line.
And after we saw the ending (which was intentionally bad + the fact that It couldn't be any better with the limited budget and development time *another DOUBLE WIN for EA*) we all started to begging them to release a "NEW ENDING DLC" and that we will gladly pay for it!


By the look of this their social experiment was a success. And they will continue with their business practises if we don't do something.

If I may point out with this kind of thinking there is absolutely nothing we can do for this matter. With this line of thinking we must start to with hold our wallets from them. So you propose to us that we should stop caring about this francise?

I went through ME3, 1 time... I havnt felt the need to think about who to romance, cause... Who wants to go through that ending more than once?

Just stop playing MP. They turned KOTOR into an MMO, they turned Mass Effect, a single player rpg, into Halo. They are doing this because people go, "well the single player sucks, I'll play MP"

Then they see a spectre pack for 200 Bioware points, and go" well it's only 3 bucks, and I'll have that awesome weapon." So they look at those statistics and say, why spend all that money on a single player rpg, when they'll pay us 15 dollars a month for some cartoon grind fest, or they let us nickel and dime them on a tacked on MP to a game that didn't even warrant it.

Eventually everygame will be MW3. a 6 hour ****ty campaign with subscription based MP because that's what gamers are allowing.

OK Chobot actually saying she was going to romance herself in the game had to be the biggest example of narcissim I have evern seen in my life.  BAH I just don't have words for the things I feel about that thought alone... 

OK I'm going to go through my screenshots of Kaidan and try to bleach that from my brain now
