Hello comrades! I have been gone a couple of weeks. Any non-Twitter news from Bioware? Any new M. Sheilds Comic Panels?

Hello all, still holding the line?Just checking.Anything minor happen this day?I know nothing major happened as it's the weekend.Been playing New Vegas while getting nerve up to fight the Kayran again, hate that fight.

I love it lol, I got the whole thing down playing through on normal, didn't die when I went through on dark, there were other fights I hated a lot though that I had to just give up on for an hour or two before going back

To the first question, no. The second, yes.

There was a bit of twitter news, and it was about as disappointing as it possibly could have been.

Excellent! now, for some self-promotion!
Hello all, I just wanted to run by some of my thoughts now that we are nearly two-and-a-half months into this ending thing with ME3. Speculations and long reading ahoy!Image IPB I think that EA wanted Bioware to make a Gears of War killer game, instead of Mass Effect 3. In statements, EA mentioned that it wanted none of their games to be single player only, and it shows with the upcoming Dragon Age, and the present release of ME3. EA has been persistently trying to one-up Call of Duty with Medal of Honour, Crysis, and etcetera. I believe this why Mass Effect 3 feels much more paired down than the previous two episodes, EA wanted the same direction as other multiplayer games. In this sense, they wanted a pared-down single player, and “addictive” multiplayer, similar to Call of Duty and Gears of War. This is why many ion Bioware/EA act ‘annoyed’ with their customers, because they want everyone to forget about single player, and go shoot folks online. EA has the multiplayer checklist of guns, team action, upgrades, etcetera, and they are surprised to see loyal customers leave such an offering.
I believe EA/Bioware underestimated how attached people are to the franchise as a single player entity—with a focus on characterization--and not as an online shooter like other titles, such as Battlefield. Case in point, Battlefield 3 had an underwhelming single player, however, anyone with reliable Internet connections, and an affinity for multiplayer has moved online. In summary, I think EA wanted ME3 to be the “Gears Killer” and intentionally made Bioware focus less on the single player portion to challenge Gears in the multiplayer market. The companies underestimated just how attached the customers were to the universe of Mass Effect, and how they would negatively affect the value of the title. Thoughts on this? Sorry for such a long paragraph, I just wanted to get this out there. Image IPB

It's because they want us to all buy the SAME GAME every 10 months and pay $15  to get 3 "new" maps in every map pack. Like the CoD fanboys. And Battlefield just ain't getting the job done.

That's what it's looking like, and that's not the kind of game I freaking want.  I like my SP RPG with strong stories and strong RPG elements.  That's what I play games for, not to go around getting killed by 12  y/o kids with a poor attitude.  If I want that, I can just go to the mall... plenty bad attitude to see there.

Only if you want to die my friend, only if you want to die... or have her die... either one should suffice. ^_^
