and did any of you see that thread about the ME shoes? I'd probably buy a pair (help design a pair as thats whats happening now) if the ending wasn't so horrible, would be pretty cool depending on whatever ideas they go with

Would it be wrong of me to buy a pair, strap them to an unladen UAV and send it back to Casey Hudson's office in style (and I'll even deliver a unmanned plane with my shoes as well)?

Honestly though, "We can't do endings, so now we're selling shoes! we can't screw them up!" is not exactly the greatest step out into the world, in fact, I strongly bellieve it's as petty as it can get. They insult their community, lie to them and laugh at them, and then they try to sell shoes? I'd worry for my life if I wore anything ME-related outside of the house, for fear of endless and brutal scrutiny by virtually everyone I have met in my life.

Trying to promote anything ME-related now is quite simply a joke and a farce. It's like trying to sell a shirt saying "I support an idiotic company who lies to their fanbase and screws over as many people as they can!"

well i hope Chris doesn't feel that time is anytime soon!  anyway i hope a bit of the things i said to him i wanted to see in the EC and that others share with me are in the EC (ME2 LI flashbacks, effects of your choices, fate of fleets, some sense of what happens with everyone afterwards, some hope, chance for something happy, how did *insert plothole* happen/why, possibility of relays being fixed, also in the realms of unrealism i said id like to see tali's face, if ME2 LI flashbacks were added, rendered in game in her flashback but that has like 0% chance of happening lol)
edit: and just in case someone thinks clarification is something im happy with/wanted with what i said there, it was not what i wanted lol, i'm just trying to make the best of what we are going to get as

The worst part of the ending was the lack of explanation of what happened and what your choices meant, for somthing billed as the end of a trilogy it left too many things open IMO.

well if you looked at that thread it was ridiculously off topic at that particular moment from what i saw save a few posts here and there (way more than over here at times) i still don't know where i stand on the IT i don't hate it and i don't like it either

Ummm, if you're talking about the thread with the pyramids (Imhoteph says hi btw. He has found the joys of BBQ and spends most of his time on my backyard now), I think the reason might have been the said pyramids...

EA doesn't care about single player anymore.

I think it was stated somewhere, actually. Right about the time they announced they were forcing a social networking aspect into The Sims 3 - a historically single player game. Even included "rewards' you could only unlock by using it. Meanwhile they have bugs in that game dating back to the first expansion pack that they just don't care about.

Unfortunately, Mass Effect 3's multiplayer "success" is only reinforcing that.

Yeah, I have a feeling that they were letting it slide for a while due to some of the ramifications it would cause. That, or the moderators were told not to by devs. I'm shocked it got so far before they closed it actually, how many pages was the pyramid pages going on for?

yes,  a lot of the those articles are out of date (I.e pre EC announcement) so I think the links thing should be cleaned up a bit

Well.. I just came back after a break... Spent it in the kitchen, baking... So, I had some time to think about a few things... None of wich really matters anyway....

like one example, when anderson says they are controlling you he's looking directly at you, thats just speculation of course he's looking at you as the camera shot is Shepard's POV/Anderson can't exactly move all that well, makes my mind explode how much speculation is involved in the IT which is probably why im on the fence with it lol (also i probably would be more accepting of the IT if the people there, again from my few lurker visits, didn't pretty much insult you if you bring up some kind of counter example, its always like "is that the best you can do? pfft")

You're right, some of the news (and maybe one or two videos) isn't really necessary anymore and could probably go, it's not really doing anything but taking up space these days.

I'm curious as to how long they've been dark, wondering whether they're hiding in the shadows looking for a way out or just trying (and what appears to be failing) to make hype. From your (mr. reader) standpoint, what do you think they're doing in this wall of darkness around them?

EC announced 7th of april, basicly slience and rumour after that
