You're right, some of the news (and maybe one or two videos) isn't really necessary anymore and could probably go, it's not really doing anything but taking up space these days.

Side topic: when was the last piece of news on the EC delivered? I'm curious as to how long they've been dark, wondering whether they're hiding in the shadows looking for a way out or just trying (and what appears to be failing) to make hype. From your (mr. reader) standpoint, what do you think they're doing in this wall of darkness around them?

Ouch, that's one month and a week... and yet amusingly, I am not even remotely hyped. So if that's their intention, I can say that they appear to be failing at that. Less of a hype and more of a defeatist stance that Bioware are simply not actually doing anything, they're just sat there, drinking coffee and getting the occasional line of script done every week or so.

In any way, I'm on the verge of not caring, some more games are coming around the corner, and they'll keep me distracted until I can find a suitable replacement for Mass Effect, should it complete the theorized path and fail on their second attempt.

anyone here actually feeling any hype or anticipation whatsoever?

I personally prefer Intoxication... There's just something about being drunk enough to Shep Shuffle that makes the ending not so horrible...

 I stated a few pages back about how EA wanted a Gears-Killer, not Mass Effect 3. With that in mind, I am no longer interested in the "Extended Cut", and never really was that interested, to be honest. Mass Effect, Rest In Peace, we hardly knew ya...

How does that help though? I was not worried EA was going to steal my PC, xbox or kindle, just that I could no longer play games without paying for everything 6 times, I would keep a pc for the web until we all get china levels of censorship... then It will be the book in the park it seems...

The thread was shut for a very good reason, it became almost impossible to discuss the actuall topic due to the overwhelming off topic posts, but Chris did say a new thread can be started on the same topic so long as it remains on topic.

yeah i know lol, i was lurking there at the time of it getting closed and saw some...weird posts lol

double edit: something similar(but not really that similar ) happened to another thread i went to to actually contribute to the topic but got there and saw everything had turned to spiderman pic posting (was the geth are not people/don't have rights thread which i disagree with because they are alive and have all the rights we do, it reminded me of that TNG episode with Data which is why i went there to post but ended up leaving)

If you look at this video here (insert IT link), it really proves that bioware was planning this all along, all the signs hidden in the game make sense, it really shows bioware are mastures of rPg lolz
