[Major Swift]

I'm not exactly looking forward to DA3 (even less so with the ME3 ending etc) I'd rather be playing Hawke again than some new character

I have never tried the DA series and now is not the most prudent time to start liking it methinks...

So I'll frankly tell bioware I won't buy it unless it has a cameo from yours truly, and no I don't mean me... I mean ME... if you know what I mean... lol

...wait, what?!
You need to try Dragon Age Origins. I swear it won't dissapoint you. It is probably one of the best Bioware game ever. It has an amazing ending(and a  bad one or bitter sweet one too) and every little thing you did will matter later. 
Trust me, you have to play it. 


But it might make you hate ME3 ending even more...

i think ME corrupted my whole love of the silent character thing which is why i'd rather have Hawke around again (though i still like it, but would prefer voiced character to play as, would be odd to find my warden learned to talk if he came back in DA3) but as it is neither of us would play as who we prefer lol and your exactly right i'm not really thinking about it all too much as they have to sort out ME3 first

Hmmm, even if I could get a free copy not sure if I could take giving bioware even my attention, let alone my money, but from what I have heard the story is more self contained than ME right? so I could play it and if DA3 is crap its no loss to me... Will consider it, but will have to do a soul searching walk listening to this (yes inspired by you know what)


Also, this ending was still better than me3

i will be spending my money elsewhere as well, unless the ending of ME3 is improved. trust is a hard thing to build up, and the easiest thing to lose. as it stands bioware no longer have mine.

Pretty much. You can play DA:O and never play another DA game and still feel great about it. DA is all about the universe, rather than one character.
Aaaand your effort is definitely no dust in the wind in DA, if it makes you feel any better. 

I actually thought we would be getting something similar to DA:O final battle when we went to Earth in ME3. In DA:O, you see all your allies fighting right next to you (you can summon them), and that's what I thought we would see in ME3...

well, im back after watching some nice, motivating videos. waiting to see whats coming in this EC.... Also, i would like to ask: Did anyone WATCH the PAX interview? when the Bioware team was asked about the Indoc. theory, they neither confirmed, nor denied that it was what was happening... just kinda said some things to curve the subject, but it still sounded like it wasn't cut out. in fact, they had grins on their faces when talking about it... so... still possible? hopeful, i know, but still would be nice if that was what bioware is doing..
