Well, he was brutally honest. ME3 is some serious garbage. Its amazing that 5-10 minutes of game can ruin a series.

HERETIC.
Also, I'm guessing the release of EC will be in July.

Look at Battlefield 3... They released shortcut packs that you can buy... They unlock the weapons and perks for whatever class you buy it for... In Mass Effect 3 you can buy packs for in-game credits or real life cash-moneys...Major Swift wrote...
*sigh* http://gamerant.com/...rs-dyce-148695/ you know some day EA's going to try to put something like that into ME3 at this rate seeing as they will with BF3 after seeing this kind of success

Its the beginning of the pay-to-pay model... You pay for the game, then you pay to access the game, then you pay to use the items in the game, and then you pay to spawn a character in the game... And after that additional fees may be for health-packs, ammo, how-to-walk, the shoot-button, etc.Major Swift wrote...

I don't think they're precisely serious with that. Sure they'll try and see how many idiots they can cheat to pay ridiculous amounts of money, but after the whole scheme reaches critical mass, pirates raid their games, sales drop, and they bury the model quietly.Phoenix NL wrote...
Pay-per-bullet.Seriously though, from a business perspective I have to admire how they're tapping new revenue streams but as a gamer I hate it.
Well... If I had a valid opinion then i'd say they are running out of options... Inferior games, spending too much money advertising inferior games... And that's just EA... They all want a solid way of earning cash-moneys, but its getting to the point where I dont care about games anymore...Phoenix NL wrote...

Hmmm, probably seems good value though if you only play one game a year (I.E cod/BF), so its cheaper than buying a new game every few months, but obviously before now they could enjoy 1 game a year for less money...
Though I imagine people like us who have a more broad horizon of gaming might not like this model...
