Does this happen only with chick LIs? Because so far Garrus girls (and why not guys too, take the bromance to the next level) have quite happily coexisted with Thanemancers, Kaidan lovers and everyone else. Then again, I tend to steer clear from the character appreciation forum.

People are just weird... But srsly... The romances are a little weird... Its not a progressing relationship, its pretty much just a one-nighter, 3 games in a row....

I disagree. Garrus and I have progressed. Then again, judging by what I've heard, it is the only ME2 relationship exception. Well, Garrus and Tali. All 3 ME romances are handled quite well, if one does not romance anyone in ME2, or so I've understood.

Then again I'd argue Tali and Garrus are ME romances too, like Kaidan/Ash and Liara are ME2 romances 

But I enjoyed watching how things progressed with Space Batman from the "reach and flexibility" incident of ME2 to the deep and caring thing it is in the end, and how it is in ME3. I nearly cried when Garrus told my Shep "I'm starting to see some wear and tear. Don't forget to come up for air every once in a while, and not just because everyone needs you. I need you" 

He's just so damn caring thing throughout the entire game. 

F***. The whole dialogue before the final battle was so damn perfect, why did the ending have to ruin it all? It would have been so good to wake up in a hospital bed, mangled, hurt, but a winner, and to have Garrus be sitting right next to the bed, not necessarily even saying anything, maybe making a remark how glad he is Shepard acted according to his orders, even though it was insubordinating...

Yes, because that's the way proving a thesis works. If something doesn't fit, disregard it without a second thought.

That's one crazy ass theory, lol. It's one stretch after another to make a point. I would put the odds of that being what the writers intended to be at zero. Not really intriguing, but still kind of funny. Mainly the black eyes bit.

lol thats just beyond speculation as i can't even see how thats a theory! and yeah last night there was this thread i was looking at that the OP said Tali should be let go for ME2 characters to have some development, mainly Jack in this case/Jack was ditched to put Tali in ME3 or something like that and basically was a lot of LI bashing going on in there for all LI's

oh come on, now this is getting ridiculous lol, so i can basically go through to any part of the game and pick something and spin it to be IT? (well LIT in this case though IT do this too sometimes) well what about my shep, he just stood there pointing his pistol saying "No!" while watching just like he did when it was suppose to be 4v1 against Mr. Lieutenant Bastard Space Ninja Ballerina.
if thats all i have to do then Hackett was indoctrinated because of the look he was giving me while picking dialogue options

Tali's always been important to the series... she's the one who basically get you to be a Spectre in ME1... You can't take that kind of person out of the game, just for some character, while awesome, who has a signifigant role elsewhere in the game. And plus how are you supposed to expand upon Jack? She's a teacher now.... She's changed, become more mature, and all that jazz.

The simplest answer is the most likely one. Basically saying that a theory like that where you need to continuosly grasp at straws is not what what you should be looking for as an explanation.

And goodnight is a common parting phrase use in specific social situations, most commonly when seeing a loved one or friend off to sleep.
