So they go from "The fans helped us craft this story", to "We have to repsect our team's artistic integrity", back to having a "conversation between fans"....
Well, I'd like to use the old "Fool me once" adage, but I genuinely believe they're trying their hardest to save face after DA2, ME3, and the lack of hype surrounding a new game. The thing is that this is all irrelevant unless they decide to give the game a very real development time. Their last two games got none, and their last two games were crap. They've already given themselves a delay once before even confirming anything, but they need more than just a little bit of extra time.
Fan reaction has screwed up their plans here, so that's a good thing. Basic rule of thumb when making a product is to try not to blatantly ****** of the fans with your antics.
But I suppose they shouldn't be taking advice from someone who has already decided he won't be buying their game. Maybe if they had started listening with the earler conversation, instead of just repeatedly stating how wrong we were...
