Besides, Vader has a cooler VA.
As for Vader's VA, I'm hoping you mean the original Vader VA.

Tortured and brooding = depth, of course. Never mind that Shepard has already been to hell and back, how can a game be art without doom, gloom and no hope.Goodwood wrote...
Somehow, this song seems to really speak to me about this whole situation, particularly our feelings about how "darker and edgier" are supposedly the new cool.

I guess now a days, if it isn't brooding or dark it must be My Little Ponies, with rainbows and glitter. That's what I've seen coming from people who scoff at others who were hoping for a somewhat happy ending.

BW had a plot of land all ready in my soul to cement an undying love for the series, on solid foundations in a giant bubble of adoration. It'll take a long time for that bubble to bleed out, but bleed out it will if the patch goes in the wrong place.

This is a stunt. And after ME 3 its in poor taste. They already have an active forum, why would questions made by Bioware, with answers that they pick and choose over, provide any more fan control or feedback than what we have right now.
To give an example. Bioware flat out told us what we wanted in EC DLC (at a point I might add, where it was apparent that what most of us wanted was a new ending), they took our suggestions and promptly ignored everything that was hard, expensive or challenging. Tweaked some concepts that they already knew about, (of course we want to see our war assets in action BW, you already knew that, you just decided to go cheap on us) and threw out the rest.
How will this be any different?

What astounds the **** out of me though, is that there are so many people eager to defend these shady practices. Why would anyone defend needing an internet connection for a single player game. Or thinking it's EA's right to basically tunnel our computer for information so it can sell it to their marketing affiliates?
It bugs me that so many people are willing to just bend over and take it.
I held off for so long letting Origin on my PC. It bugged the hell out of me as I was downloading it. So what I did was made a nice little secure partition, with a friendly little sandbox, and now I let Origin spend all day sitting in that sandbox sniffing around for something it'll never find.

I'm at a similar stage right now. Put they've poked so many holes with this PR that the love is all bled out. It should have been a very tough task to ruin it, but they managed to do it very fast.evisneffo wrote...

Also, I guess I'm still a little miffed about the Female Shepard/Ashley romance thing (or rather the lack thereof), but I doubt fixing it would make me care enough to play the game. Maybe I'd feel obliged to do so considering they had adressed a very specific complaint of mine. But I don't even know where they would implement such a fix. If I had to guess, something like that would come at an extra charge, and if so, screw that noise (paying extra for things that were supposed to be in the game is a big no-no for me)
When they're saying from the Mass Effect side that they don't care what we say, yet with Dragon Age they're requesting our suggestions.... I can't care. Fix the first one before you try to even talk about the second.evisneffo wrote...

At least listen without trying to take the easy way out. Stop talking out both sides of your mouth. Yes DA2 ultimately ended as a failure that took all the wind out of the sail of its series, and they're desperate to repair that. But they don't seem to realize the exact same thing has happened here with ME3. I suppose success breeds arrogance, and it sometimes takes more than one failue to learn from your mistakes. As I've said, from my end it's too little too late (unless by some miracle they repair ME3. Operative word being miracle.)
