Picture perfect and it reminds me of a lot of companies and services today; though I want to believe BioWare is different. Self denial can be dangerous<_<.

Lol yay quote attack!!!!! :) and I don't think BioWare understands how damaging this no news thing/news blackout is to them, a lot of people are going to just simply not care what they do eventually, they should put at least something out like a release date?

I would rather sit and squirm in the dark while they take their time to make the endings right than pressure them to rush and get a product that just leaves me frustrated. I'm pretty sure that was part of what put us ME fans in this predicament in the first place.

Sure, by giving a new ending without changing a damn thing (as they've stated), I'm sure they're doing their best to allay fan concerns that the ending is broken and needs to be replaced... lol.

And yes the reason the game is the way it is, indeed has a lot to do with the way the game was rushed. Yet, if they ever, ever try to blame it on the fans... Seriously. Fans will always want more when you've made a good product. Fans will finish with it asking for more. It's a mark of success. Your job is to serve that desire with more of the same quality product. If it takes time to make something of the same quality, you take that time.

Obviously when people walked out of the Avengers, they wanted a sequel. Yet if next summer they release it as an hour long mini-movie with poor writing, and occasionaly sloppy special effects, should the fans be blamed for wanting something soon?  Obviously not. So if the idea that it's the fans fault that the game was rushed is just wrong, and I hope they never try and use it to cover up the blantant quick cash-in attempt that was ME3.

Fan fire is just personal pressure in my opinion and doesn't really affect a product release, the bosses who want to make a profit do. It would be really wrong if a rushed production was ever blamed on the fans and I personally would feel insulted. Unfortunately, I haven't taken any classes in business so my knowledge of the corporate world is limited and I'm always hesitating to make assumptions on something I know so little about. All I've got going right now is I know what a good book and game ending is like from experience and what we got sure wasn't it. There's too much left unresolved that shouldn't have been left hanging. It's disjointed to the point the endings don't make a lick of sense.

@Goodwood
Oh, I'm doubting. I hate the endings, no doubt about that, and I'll
tell anyone exactly why. It's just when it comes to business practices
that I'm in the dark and since someone threw Avengers in here I'll say
my disposition is like Stark. How can I even start on something when I
don't have all the right pieces of information?

Always leave them wanting more...

Glad you've gotten IL-2 '46 mate, it's a good all-rounder even if you don't like all the fancy controls and engine management options. Make sure to download and install all the updates, especially those from Team Daidalos, at Mission4Today. Lots more AI-controlled and flyable planes in them.

Thanks, been trying this training campaign somone on there made, lots of taking off and landing... Though I am still a bit hit and miss with it... Practice as they say. Am pleased I managed to get a seafire to take off off that tiny carrier without crashing into the sea every time... As for landing on carriers, i think I will save that for later

People here have IL-2!

Time to dust of my joystick. I love that game.

Landing on carriers is tricky, especially if you don't have an arresting hook.

I've got a load of skins on that site for the various aircraft, Kevin. Do a search for Goodwood and you'll find a long list of downloads.

Will do.

Do they still use the Unified installer?

In regards to the carrier landing. I've done it before on a He 162, I believe it was. Key was to stall and fall steep enough to not overshoot the carrier but slow enough that the gears would take the force.

I'll try to get a video up on the carrier landing if I can.

Sounds good, we beter be careful of what we say on the RT though, we never know when the mods are listening in...

To keep things on topic I realise I now hate WW2 era Raf aircraft,  all that red green and blue... :D

Not really, but I do imagine Von hudson is behind the controls of every enemy machine...

Well, instead of attempting to replicate us vs. BioWare and the rEApers with wooden sailing ships, now you can do it with fighters and bombers! Just set up a whole mess of heavy, medium and light bombers along with escorts for whatever aesthetic suits you (Brits vs. Jerries, Jerries vs. Soviets, Yanks vs. Japs, etc.).

I would definitely have rathered they had waited longer before releasing mass effect 3 then tacked on the ending they gave us. It felt like they had developed the entire game and harbinger would hit Shepard with his beam and they thought, Hmm... What now? Oh well we could always beem him up and he could meet with the Illusive Man and Anderson could die and then he could meet starchild and this kid would claim to be a creator off all things. They were probably originally the just going to detroy the Reapers when someone showed them how Deus Ex Ended and though great here is our where we can give them a choice.

I would have preferred they waited longer before releasing Mass Effect 3 so that they could spent the time to fix the whole game and make it more in line with the quality of the rest of the series.

Sometimes you find an interesting fact, and then it take someone to tell you just how true it is...

But seriously I just read that and lol'd. Not everything needs to be proof of something so far fetched. It was likely more than just a coincidence, and the people who made ME1 were clever enough to subtly hint at the entire mystery of their own game... not ME3's.

I have no idea how it's supposed to serve as a clue for 2 games down the road. Especially when there's absolutely nothing linking the associated shape of an area created millions of years ago, and indoctrination.

Well literally everything is being spun to support IT these days.... even song lyrics (no I'm not kidding with that lol) id tell you exactly what but I cant remember atm all I remember is it had something to do with things leading up to ME3 reveal trailer, hell even your first meeting with javik is proof now because he says he senses fear and anxiety in you/the reapers are winning.....*sigh* wtf happened to all the solid facts that actually made sense!?

Well thse new pieces of proposed evidence, make absolutely no sense.  Those earier solid facts that you mentioned logically tie in with the theory as a whole. It wasn't just, "Some area in ME1 kind of resembles a Reaper. Therfore indoctrination." They served as explanations and justifications as to why the ending was framed the way it was. Though I really don't believe that it's what the writers ever intended (or could manage to come up with), it still makes more sense than the ending taken at face value like it was meant to. It just further goes to show how inept the ending is.
