Your muscles do need some time to rest otherwise you'll over work them. That's why I only do the high-intensity stuff 3 times a week.
The thread thing is the post that CP made on the HTL site asking what people thought about the IT.
And somehow I'm not sure anymore I want to see that thread. It might contain things harmful to everyone.
But yes, avoid that thread - there is much anger there.
Not looking for muscles, or muscle strength, so slight damage is fine. And with my crappy shape, not going to even flirt with the word "fit" or anything associated with it here, slight is all there'll be.
