Your muscles do need some time to rest otherwise you'll over work them. That's why I only do the high-intensity stuff 3 times a week.

The thread thing is the post that CP made on the HTL site asking what people thought about the IT.

Pffft, what's the worse that could happen. Losing some weight? I'd like that, a lot.

And somehow I'm not sure anymore I want to see that thread. It might contain things harmful to everyone.

Well if you want to be nit picky you could do damage to your muscles and weaken your immune system then you wouldn't do any weight loss because you're having to let them heal. Posted Image

But yes, avoid that thread - there is much anger there.

Who says I'd have to B)
Not looking for muscles, or muscle strength, so slight damage is fine. And with my crappy shape, not going to even flirt with the word "fit" or anything associated with it here, slight is all there'll be.

Hmm, a thread about ME similarities to Pirates of the Caribbean... Not sure if I should click it.

Are you a fitness instructor? That really sounds like something a gym teacher would preach.

Haha no I'm not but I've got friends who are and they always remind me of it whenever they train with me.

I am not proud to admit it, dear friends.  I used to love this series.  I would daydream until drunk on endorphins - high on the possibility that I could defeat the Reapers and save the Galaxy.   I had over 40 run-throughs of ME2 saved up for my final victory.

So yes, you can imagine my letdown when I took the Citadel beam and met Starchild.  Bioware let me down.  All this - and all of what could have been - was ruined by two men.  Two complete bozos who didn't want a game to be too  gamey.

So while I am not purchasing bioware stuff ever again, I used to.  I used to be a fan.  Now, I'm ashamed of them.

Same story here.

I used to dream about Mass Effect. After the ending, dreams turned into sh*t.

The ending in my signature, that's what I imagined. And the fix is beautiful in it's simplicity : just remove StarBrat.

Oh, I forgot:

*Hugs everyone !* :)

BTW, where did our Mr Bond go ? :(

I read through it all. Was hard to go through it without smacking your head. Wouldn't reccomend it, lol. Unless you really like the IT. I would say that thread makes me kind of hate the IT. Also CP's question was utterly pointless.

I'm sitting here with a sausage, 2 eggs, cheese and bacon sammich reading your woes.  You are not fat, Atrocity.  You just need some cardio, maybe 30 minutes a day.  Just make it part of your routine.  The earlier in the day you do it, the better - because you burn more calories for the amount of time that you are awake.

As for IT - its BS - we know it and they know it.  They just don't want to admit the truth - the truth that the devs and writers borked the ending.  Being 'original' can backfire, as it did with ME3.  If you pull it off you are a hero - and if you bork it, you look like a bozo.  Well, ladies and gents, we know that the bozos borked it.  All the rest - what we are seeing now is denial and damage control.

1) Yes I am.
2) I know, I lost 10 kilos last year, still have 10-15 more to lose until I have reached my goal
3) I run everyday for at least 30 mins, and do workouts with weights too
4) I know how to exercise, I have just noticed that for some reason the regular cut most carbs (other than  for recovery purposes), up protein intake and then exercise some more, doesn't for some reason work for me after certain weight. It is friggin hard to lose weight inside the BMI "normal" range.
5) I'm a f.cking perfectionist B)

And why can't I seem to locate this IT thread? Come on, I need some interwebs hate in my life. :crying:

Because you asked, lol. A common answer seems to be, "I want to believe, so I voted yes". Thankfully there's not much IT discussion itself.

I see - and what a lovely bulletted response!

The IT stuff is all weak, but go ahead and read it.  Its good for a laugh, if nothing else.

As for being a perfectionist - I think I kinda knew that already.  :)  You go girl!

Now proceeding to look through 15 pages of IT nonsense.

Wow, that many HTLers actually think IT is the truth and the only viable interpretation? o__o
....ok, what ever gets us something different from what we've got, I'll even put up with smug ITs bound to pop up here at BSN if the EC as much as hints to that direction.

I think a lot of them said yes becuase they thought it might affect biowares decision in some way lol.

But it is quite disturbing reading a lot of the more fanatical IT posts, when they are proved wrong things will go south fast...

People really want to believe that the game doesn't end the way it does. No matter what kind of bizarre interpretations it takes.

I find their fanaticism disturbing, and even more so that they choose to interpret everything as supporting the theory. Many mentioned things, like walking through objects ect, usually hint towards poorly done beta testing, not hallucination. It could be, but seeing how buggy the game is...

Now this is a proper hallusination sequence (starting from around 8:00).

Some conspiracies will always have bizzare elements :alien:, but the worst thing is the conviction some of them seem to speak with, comments like "Bravo bioware" and "I knew all along" Ect,

*shudders*

I will buy a SR2 cap and eat it if the IT (at least the earliest interpretations) turns out to be true.

Yeah, the reality(Bioware screw up the ending) is too much for some people to handle, it's better to believe everything is part of a big plan.

It's fooling yourself in my opinion but i can understand why people do this kind of rationalization...

Doesn't make the "teehee, u 2 dum to get it, u mad" attitude of theirs any less annoying. Sure, there are number of polite IT believers, in this thread too, but mostly that's what happens when you question the hardcore believers. Just like talking to religious nuts all over again. <_<

And on the first day, the Gamble did decree that thou shalt keep thou saves for ever more, and from that day onwards the end of sheards great sleep would begin.

I don't really care if it was a big plan or not, if the IT is right or not, as long as they do something about the thing we have at the moment  *caugh cr#p *caugh. <_<

Yes, Biggles, that'll do.
I wonder whether their doctrine explicitly states that all non-believers shall be smugly lol'd to death,  and well-rounded arguments shunned, or whether they follow the Code of the Internet with that.

That's pretty much it. It's gained such a backing behind the idea that Bioware did so well with everything that they couldn't have screwed up with the ending so badly.

If you're more cynical about the game it's a lot easier to see the ending as just the biggest screw up in a series of other screw ups.

The one thing I wouldn't be able to stand if Bioware decided in the end that they were going to use the IT for the EC would be the large influx of inevitable "I told you so"s, and other variants of the same point. I hate making sweeping generalizations about large groups of people, but you know the specifically obnoxious type I am talking about.

This. I smashed the caring cup over my little brother's head when he went on about the IT in the way you have mentioned, now I no longer have a caring cup, I just have a instrument for shutting people who say "lol, he too dum to undrstan why it must be the IT.".

If you want to believe that there is a plan all along, feel free to, if you want to tell someone else how they is stupid to understand why that said THEORY could be true, then I will feel free to break yet another newly made caring cup.

I also hate how they link absolutely everything to it, to the point where I think when they listen to something, whenever they hear the words Reaper, indoctrination or theory, they begin jumping up and down in their chairs yelling "IT! IT! IT!" before they read the context of the use of the word. It's fine saying a few points may make the case, but they really make themselves look like a bunch of anal fools when they send links of things that occurred throughout the entire franchise and then use it as evidence, when it clearly was never intended to be, or probably ever will be.

In regards to the general attitude of people when talking about theories, ex: "You don't get it"

“People are not stupid. They believe things for reasons. The last way for skeptics to get the attention of bright, curious, intelligent people is to belittle or condescend or to show arrogance toward their beliefs.” -- Carl Sagan.
