I guess I'm more of realist in that case, seeing as I'm hoping for the best but planning for the worst.

I don't know that you could use that argument about competitors against it. If the same producer came out and said what you said, I'd lol. You can't have it both ways.Atrocity wrote...
That'd be the reasonable thing to do, even if filtered through "they're competing companies trying to make most out of the situation" goggles.Laterali wrote...
So that EA producer that made that video where he said he doesn't care about gamers' opinions, only other developers. So when your peers, other game developers, start talking **** about the game, does that mean they're starting to get the hint?
I mean I'm just a lowly fireman, according to them what do i know about games right? But when other game developers start smack talking them openly, they gotta start thinking it's more than just entitled whiny gamers.
Wait, I said reasonable? I might have disproved my point in that word choice alone.
"These gamers have no right to talk because they have no idea what it takes to make a game like this"
or
"The people that make games like this have no right to talk because......"
Yet I wouldn't be surprised if that happened. Because aye, reasonable EA and Bioware be not.

I want to think I'm a realist in this case, but that's only because the scale needs to be readjusted with respect to ME3.Ohpus wrote...

I just watched a Witcher 2 developer video. It was by a level designer talking about the new features in the game. He shows side by side comparisons of the visuals depending on the choices you make throughout the game. At one point he says, "The differences aren't just changing one color."
I had to do a double take. Did they just smack talk BioWare? Cause it'd be pretty funny if that was the intent.
Link to the video please.

Well played good sir, well played.
"...yet he afforded her the highest compliment he afforded any woman: Well worth the dig!"
Watchable movie indeed. Geoffrey Rush does a nice role as the marquis.

Love that dig, lol. But the content of the video speaks for itself. It makes Bioware look like a bunch of hacks by simple comparison with its game. It doesn't even need to make that reference.Laterali wrote...

The impresion I have got from what I have heard about the witcher is that the "choices" are less common than me1/2 but all of them are important, instead of the rather higledy pigledy bioware choices that may or may not mean anything at all. Is this generaly correct?

Well, I didn't get that far into the game when playing to see it personally, but yes (I still stand my earlier statement). The story and choices and results have been largely spoiled for me, so from what I know, I can say that a choice you make can essentially give you to seperate stories altogether.BigglesFlysAgain wrote...

I say that with comparison to ME3, where they can't create even create substitue missions and the such where they're supposed to apply (see Rachni mission, for one of many), let alone branching storylines.
That video speaks for itself, like I said. What changes like that in ME3? The citadel? You have the pristine citadel before the Cerberus coup, and the sligtly damaged one afterwards. The coup that occurs regardless, that you have no control of before, during, or after it happens.

This is the list of Biggles' deaths. As you know, much like Kenny, Biggles does not seem to stay dead. The reason for this is not yet known, but may people are trying to kill him to find out.
"The question not is when, but how, will I die!"
-- Biggles - May 21, 2012 (page 4001)
Note: For anything not on the list you will need to claim the bounty to have it added.
3815 - toffeetrooper knocks off Biggles head with a biotic kick.
Nharia1 gives the corps to children and plays ball with the head.
3858 - toffeetrooper places anti-plot armour bomb underneath biggles post.
3942 - Biggles face melts because of Atrocity's gaze. Not sure if it's fatal
but it sounds terminal.
3957 - Biggles dies on Arrival (ME2).
4019 - Hitman629 overloads the plane. Causes an firey barn inferno.
4024 - Claims to have been crushed by paper avalanche. "Death" report is suspect.
Near miss:
3924 - Major Swift kicks Biggles into a well of day-one dlc's/multiplayer madness
3939 - Atrocity preps a shotgun for a Biggle hunt.
3760 - Biggles kills himself trying to destroy a video. Aparantly unrelated to the
collatral damage caused by Major Swift's Napalm strike. Biggles later found wandering
with a magnet on his chest.
4028 - toffetrooper straps a bomb beneath Biggles plane, and jumps.
But he only gets a mannequin. Later kills the CEO of EA by accident.
4029 - ? Attempted decloak assasination by Cursed zeba.
Edit: I need to clean it up a bit.
