then all the people who said the liked AND wanted a grim ending over a happy one are hypocrites be cause if given the up tion between the two they would pick the happy ending.....or else they would have zero problem picking AND feeling satisfied with the ending they proclaim to prefer regardless of the (according to them) inferior alternative
So we can't get the ending we want after all?

I wasn't serious. I think the people who are going overboard with the whining should go ahead and make their own blockbuster video games with 30,000 lines of dialogue. So I can tear it down before it's even released.
Amusingly enough I'm looking for a financial backer to do just that, but with more dialogue. Unfortunetly, I don't think I'd get enough cabbage from kickstarter to carry it off, but I do think that it would be better then this.
Set around 1730 at the beginning of the 'vampire plagues' (not ****ting you, that's what they called it.) of Europe, Basically it would run on the premise of 'what if all that stuff they belived then about magic and myth' were true? And then toss in war and politcal intrigue as men, myths and monsters vie for power in both open and secret wars.
Think I can shoehorn enough 'epic' in that idea ot please most people? I'm figuring on at least 12 possible different endings and a few 'sub endings' to each one.

I can't accept Joker running for any reason. Nor can I accept Ashley letting him, Liara letting him, or any of the other team members letting Joker run. Everything to this point on Joker - the guys stays in the fight to the bitter end.
However, having said that I am entourage by the Krogan guy's Prima Strategy Guide that offers new ideas and new intel. Encouraged by the YouTube audio of Anderson/Sheppard to me clearly AFTER the Reaper war.
Poor writing can explain the entire first paragraph.
Strategy guides are notorious inconsistent, especially when matched up against files from the actual game. Also, that dialogue happens as Anderson is mortally wounded, I believe.

Maybe but I think I'm also correct - in any case I have read if Anderson dies then Sheppard lives. This seems to prove the point.XX55XX wrote...

Isn't that audio from before Shepard faces the final button to press in-game? It's not really the end. It's before the ending.

There's also zero tolerance on abuse toward staff & moderators. Which is kind of suspicious given that it is happening right before the release of ME3, and the endings suck balls
The problem that I see with most of the people in the forum is the NEED to insult other members or the devs. Like I'm not happy with the endings either but I don't understand where insulting people helps me explain how dissapponinted I am in their product. Just a thought. It's not unreasonable, it's just people being immature and not knowing how to deliver a constructive criticism without insults.
Stay classy y'all~

I for one am not buying this game at full price. I will buy it used and cheap because it is not a product that is worth full-price to me (it's worth a little bit, but nowhere near $60). BW will not profit from me in any way unless they release that better ending DLC. I'd jump on that in a heartbeat.
Bingo. I have the collector's edition on preorder but just to be safe I just rented it from gamefly. If there actually turns out to not be a crappy ending, I will return the rental and keep the CE because then the entire ME series will be everything I was led to expect. If it turns out though that all we get is different colored rocks falling "with context", gamestop will let me return the CE. Then I'll just hit the option to buy the rental for a lot less than $60. The best part about that is, I'd get the game but since gamefly already bought it, bioware doesn't get an extra sale.
EDIT: Sorry not "everything I ever wanted", just "everything i was led to expect." All I ever wanted was what I was told.

You want to complain about an ending that you have not yet experienced, you will have to deal opposition to your point of view. I'm willing to be mocked, derided, and insulted for my point of view. It's the internet. This is not the Iranian Social Network. You are not the king of these forums or this thread. You have no authority. Understand?
How Ironic because you are the one ironic and mocking the ones that are greatly dissapointed with the ending, and its there is more than enough evidence out there to prove that...So you want me to buy the game just to "experience" the bad endings I expected to see already? Its like going to watch a movie in the theater althought YOU KNOW it will suck balls. I didnt say I am the king of the forums and all I am telling you is, behave or you can GTFO!

Well I guess he figured out how to make them irrelevant after all!
“It’s still something that’s unprecedented in the industry,” Hudson said, adding that the feature makes the series unique. “There’s no other way to show that your choices have impact if they don’t also have impact that carries across from one game to the next.”
http://www.straight....e-aims-surprise
EDIT: EVEN BETTER!!!!!
According to the executive producer, it would have been “disingenuous” to have players make choices that affect the first game, and then return them all to the exact same state for the next game. “To me, it’s part of coming through on the promise of interactive storytelling,” he said.
OMG:blink: I'm in total shock and not the good kind of shock.

Just went in with 2 of my friends, to share one copy of mass effect 3 on PS3(even though my saves are on PC). I know it's not a boycott but I don't think I could play it more than once or even finish it with that ending.
I wasn't even angry with "Tell me about the Shepard" or the catalyst, I just thought they were incredibly funny. They were the kind of things you would see on early 90s cartoons.

Uh, I know the fish is a war asset. That much has been proven by in game data and backed up by the guide. The new ending, however, does not seem to exist in the current data.
Cling to your Prima Bible all you want. As for me and mine, we'll stick to the actual game files..

Behave or get the **** out? Wow, how well "behaved" you are. I'm mocking the irrational anger and hatred towards BioWare. I'm not telling people to act, I'm pointing out how insane and crazy it is. The crying and the whining. But you can't tell me what to do on these forums. This thread went from a discussion if the endings to hatred for BioWare and EA. You aren't going to bully me into going away either. But nice try.
