Well, Cerberus agenda is basically pro-humanity, not just TIM's crime syndicate, so they would basically use Udina (what a tweest) to force the unprepared  galactic races in an all out war against the reapers. That way the aliens would face the bulk of the reaper forces, severily crippling them in the process, while Cerberus would take a different, non direct approach against the reapers. After the end of the war, Cerberus would utilize their war assets against the now powerless council races, after an exhausting war, establishing themselves as galactic dictators.

If Shep joined the council races, he would basically have to throw earth away as bait to the reapers, while he gathered a stronger military force. Leaving with humanity's strongest ship would basically be considered treason at a time like that, hence punishable by death. So, he builds an army, comes back, earth is severily crippled, but they manage to push the reapers back. Despite his actions, Shepard is still branded a traitor on earth, he is, however, protected by the council (Spectre) and the alien races all commit to rebuild what's left of earth.

As for the reapers win scenario, I'm not really sure. It could either be that the reapers have slowly been indoctrinating Shepard through the last few games, or just that they make him an offer he can't refuse. Basically, the reapers want him on their side because otherwise he's extremely dangerous. Once the war is over ... betrayal.

As for the perfect ending,  I dunno. MacGuffins. Just there for the people that want it, just don't really care.

The thing that pisses me off the most is how rushed the endings feel. Like oh s**t we can't think of different endings ah F*** it just make all of them the same just different colors.

Amusingly enough I'm looking for a financial backer to do just that, but with more dialogue.  Unfortunetly, I don't think I'd get enough cabbage from kickstarter to carry it off, but I do think that it would be better then this. 

Set around 1730 at the beginning of the 'vampire plagues' (not ****ting you, that's what they called it.) of Europe,   Basically it would run on the premise of 'what if all that stuff they belived then about magic and myth' were true?  And then toss in war and politcal intrigue as men, myths and monsters vie for power in both open and secret wars.



Think I can shoehorn enough 'epic' in that idea ot please most people?  I'm figuring on at least 12 possible different endings and a few 'sub endings' to each one.

There's also zero tolerance on abuse toward staff & moderators. Which is kind of suspicious given that it is happening right before the release of ME3, and the endings suck balls

While i respect the request to not be abusive toward the staff, amusingly, and without knowing about the leak: I pointed that out in a thread on the new policies made it look like Bioware was preemptivly shutting the forum down to new members to avoid fan backlash.

Lazy, yes, but I don't think they were rushed, which sort of makes it worse. I think it was quite well planned that the endings would be like this, in order to wrap up the story of Shep and crew, to make it all nice and neat for whatever comes next in the franchise. If only they had the excuse of being 'rushed'. At least DA2 only took 8 months.<_<

If you have a game registered, you can post after 24 hours if you make a new account. Jesus people, if you can't get your facts straight on this, it's no wonder you can't about the endings either.

I really really love my LI options, and just hearing about the endings made me very sad. However i cannot imagine the talimancers and other such people playing the ending and having it all dawn on them. That just would be beyond all sense of emotion. It would just be pure animal noises.

I am sensing a little deja vu here. This freak out reminds me of the days when Halo Reach was coming out. The war between the "whiners" and the "fan boys". Sometimes you have to accept that this is the writer's story and as much as a big fan you are, you don't really have entitlement to anything on what story has for you to work with. Sure with bioware games they give us choice, but you see stories can become living things when developed over time and to pull away from where the story is headed can sometimes really hurt the story.

For me I am not really disappointed, you can bet you will be seeing me playing it when it comes out . I don't keep my expectations that high so for anything, so it's not really any loss on part here.

 dude shut the **** up and stop troling will ya  na 90% of people here are disapointed wit the endings 5 % moved one 4% will more than prophabyl do Synergy or control and 1% is here for the purpose of just troling sooo will ya kind of stop troling or express you opinion in a way that does NOT look like troling. I have missed something? What have I missed? No dont say these things, Joker/Edi and the universal doom of all the endings is enough - Bioware cant take Kaidan too can they? Can they? Oh who am I kidding of course they can I jut wanted a little bit of happy! Anyway i am off to find out what terrible thing befalls kaidan - unless anyone would like to put me out of my misery? pretty please :innocent:
