I am sensing a little deja vu here. This freak out reminds me of the days when Halo Reach was coming out. The war between the "whiners" and the "fan boys". Sometimes you have to accept that this is the writer's story and as much as a big fan you are, you don't really have entitlement to anything on what story has for you to work with. Sure with bioware games they give us choice, but you see stories can become living things when developed over time and to pull away from where the story is headed can sometimes really hurt the story.

Did Halo Reach, an FPS, lead people to believe that choices they made mattered? Did they spend the prior two games in the series building on that belief?

Lazy, yes, but I don't think they were rushed, which sort of makes it worse. I think it was quite well planned that the endings would be like this, in order to wrap up the story of Shep and crew, to make it all nice and neat for whatever comes next in the franchise. If only they had the excuse of being 'rushed'. At least DA2 only took 8 months.<_<

I have missed something? What have I missed? No dont say these things, Joker/Edi and the universal doom of all the endings is enough - Bioware cant take Kaidan too can they? Can they? Oh who am I kidding of course they can I jut wanted a little bit of happy! Anyway i am off to find out what terrible thing befalls kaidan - unless anyone would like to put me out of my misery? pretty please :innocent:

I really really love my LI options, and just hearing about the endings made me very sad. However i cannot imagine the talimancers and other such people playing the ending and having it all dawn on them. That just would be beyond all sense of emotion. It would just be pure animal noises.

Does no one take in account how odd it is that Garrus and Tali will appear on the Normandy no matter where they were? Why would they teleport? Why are people treating that as anything BUT a bug? Maybe a bug that's going to be fixed with the day 1 patch?

Also, another thread detailed that the Normandy crew can die in the crash, but the ending scene with the grandfather and grandson still occurs.

Anothet thing, there were multiple men and women aboard the Normandy. It's very possible that they bred to repair the Normandy. Perhaps that child is the only child. That grandfather could be the first child born. So it's possible there isn't an incestuous population. The grandfather even said that the child WILL get to see the stars. So perhaps the hypothetical Normandy repairs are almost finished?

I'm maybe not disappointed as such with the ending but why the f*ck do they say definative ending when it couldn't be more open, it seems that they want us to figure it what happens after the stranded part and that is what bugger me.

At this point, they're probably expecting some major backlash from ME3, and they're trying to curb people signing up on release day and raising all sorts of h***.  Guess I picked a good time to join.  Beat that rule by little more than a week.

No, SomethingSome is referring to the fact that the VS gets stranded w/ the Normandy if you romance them.  It does appear possible to save the VS by kicking them off your squad at some point (which adds them to your war assets), but this ends the romance.

They keep changing it.  It's been revised twice in the last 48 hours.

Because all of those can just as easily be poor writing or oversights in design. Denial would suggest a bug because you're holding out that they'll fix it, when, in fact, they either wanted those things to happen, or they just don't care.

Yeah I dunno.  The Ashley lesbo option was removed though supposedly because there's no Hale dialogue for it.

dude if you would manage to pull of something like that i would worship the wery ground you wal upon there is jut not enoug of good vampire/werewolf and similar undead nasties:D  RPG games

I just went back and he's right, they revised the information on the policies yesterday, so it's 24 hours now if you have played the game on Origin, and 30 days otherwise.

If they wanted it to happen, they wouldn't give you the option not to recruit them or let them die. They also wouldn't give you the option of placing them anywhere but the Normandy in that case as well. It's clear as day that it's a bug.
