So we can't get the ending we want after all?

You are going to hear SCREAMS from the people who love the romance subplot who currently aren't on BSN, when 1) they find out there's no way to avoid being separated from their LI and then 2) they can't post their rage for 30 days. They won't just hold onto their anger for 30 days, they'll just go to another forum site to vent. I really think that might be the tipping point which starts people moving over to a forum where the mods don't have an inherent conflict of interest with what people might post.
You'd think they'd rather have it contained to the BSN. Because if they can't rant here, you're right, they'll rant elsewhere.

I am sensing a little deja vu here. This freak out reminds me of the days when Halo Reach was coming out. The war between the "whiners" and the "fan boys". Sometimes you have to accept that this is the writer's story and as much as a big fan you are, you don't really have entitlement to anything on what story has for you to work with. Sure with bioware games they give us choice, but you see stories can become living things when developed over time and to pull away from where the story is headed can sometimes really hurt the story.
For me I am not really disappointed, you can bet you will be seeing me playing it when it comes out . I don't keep my expectations that high so for anything, so it's not really any loss on part here.
Did Halo Reach, an FPS, lead people to believe that choices they made mattered? Did they spend the prior two games in the series building on that belief?
Apples and oranges.

The thing that pisses me off the most is how rushed the endings feel. Like oh s**t we can't think of different endings ah F*** it just make all of them the same just different colors.
Lazy, yes, but I don't think they were rushed, which sort of makes it worse. I think it was quite well planned that the endings would be like this, in order to wrap up the story of Shep and crew, to make it all nice and neat for whatever comes next in the franchise. If only they had the excuse of being 'rushed'. At least DA2 only took 8 months.<_<
Yeah you are probably right sad just sad:(

Oh no, they are going to be so sad... Sorry i keep posting that here i just don't have anywhere else to say it.
Poor guys...
And the Vegamites... They don't get their romance and we don't even know if Vega can be saved from Eden Planet (I really need to decide on a name for that)
... Steve and Sam never even had a chance.
Kaidanites have been upset too.
I have missed something? What have I missed? No dont say these things, Joker/Edi and the universal doom of all the endings is enough - Bioware cant take Kaidan too can they? Can they? Oh who am I kidding of course they can
Kaidan is indoctrinated and Shepard is forced to kill him. Alternately you can let him live and you later encounter him in husk form.
Just kidding.

I really really love my LI options, and just hearing about the endings made me very sad. However i cannot imagine the talimancers and other such people playing the ending and having it all dawn on them. That just would be beyond all sense of emotion. It would just be pure animal noises.
LMAO~! This! I'm so glad I learned about this NOW and not in two days because that would have been funny to watch. Playing seven endings and they all turn out to be the same?
lol RAGE!

WoD would not even begin to cover what I have in mind. Both Old and New would be insufficently epic. (I mean, seriously, WoD has, what, 50,000 vampires world wide? Less? Picture armies of 100,000 revanents bound with sorcery marching on Vienna, like fanged zombies. It also lacks dullahans, leshy, trolls, giants, dragons, and about a billion other things)
(and Vampires and Werewolves are much different in legend then in WoD, which owe more to Hammer Films)

Also, another thread detailed that the Normandy crew can die in the crash, but the ending scene with the grandfather and grandson still occurs.
Anothet thing, there were multiple men and women aboard the Normandy. It's very possible that they bred to repair the Normandy. Perhaps that child is the only child. That grandfather could be the first child born. So it's possible there isn't an incestuous population. The grandfather even said that the child WILL get to see the stars. So perhaps the hypothetical Normandy repairs are almost finished?
But wait! Angry no-longer fans will say that I'm somehow in denial for thinking with mah brain!

Wait, wait, wait... new BSN users can't post for 30 days? Why?
At this point, they're probably expecting some major backlash from ME3, and they're trying to curb people signing up on release day and raising all sorts of h***. Guess I picked a good time to join. Beat that rule by little more than a week.

No, SomethingSome is referring to the fact that the VS gets stranded w/ the Normandy if you romance them. It does appear possible to save the VS by kicking them off your squad at some point (which adds them to your war assets), but this ends the romance.

Because all of those can just as easily be poor writing or oversights in design. Denial would suggest a bug because you're holding out that they'll fix it, when, in fact, they either wanted those things to happen, or they just don't care.

If they wanted it to happen, they wouldn't give you the option not to recruit them or let them die. They also wouldn't give you the option of placing them anywhere but the Normandy in that case as well. It's clear as day that it's a bug.
