A guy from Something Awful forums and someone who got a Space copy said there's three main endings and three levels for them: Bad, neutral, good.Hayes1987 wrote...
Where are these endings you guys are talking about? I'm.......more than a little curious about them.
Merge: Everyone become half-organic, half-synthetic. Shepard dies.
Control: Shepard controls the Reapers but is trapped on the Citadel forever. Shepard dies.
Destroy: Shepard destroys Reapers and Mass Relays. Shepard can live in this one.
No matter what ending, the mass relays supposedly blow up or stop. The normandy supposedly crashes on a random moon/planet and they colonize.
Some believe these are not the endings.

Yep, pretty much, they saw our mamal ancestors and said, "Awe how cute, we'll wait till they become a space faring spieces in 50,000 years and wipe them out then." But then you can go in as Shpard and **** their **** up and they'll be all like. "NO! We should have got them when we had the chance!"
As someone that studies both evolution and human civilization, your use of "mammal" and "50,000" years here makes me both chuckle and hurt.

Or there could be a launch patch that adds new files and thus new endings to the game. It amazes me that developers don't take more measures against leaks, given that they KNOW parts of the community can dig out files and what not from even demos. With an experiment such as an RPG as epic as this, they'd try and hide things better....
Only thing I have to say... Maybe they leaked faulty info on purpose to stir people up and they'll denounce stuff later, once the games been out for a while.

I have the game too. Get this, mid-game Shepard can have a sex change. It's actually how you get the best ending. See, the Reapers are religious fundamentalists. They believe in family values and all that. When they find out that sex changes are no big deal in Citadel society, they freak out and leave the galaxy forever, horrified.
True story.

I've read the script, I've read everything Tank posted, and I've read what Xio said, but even after all that, I am not convinced. Why? Because I want physical evidence and I won't get that until I play the game. I've already explained how easy it is to claim to have a copy of the space edition and convince people that what you say is true.Capeo wrote...

Indeed. The only evidence I've been given that says the sources are true is "SA guy confirmed it" by SA guy only saying words and not providing any physical evidence.scotkrow wrote...

The more I think about this, the more I have hope that the endings may not even be real. I've become so much more concerned about figuring out this whole "he said, she said" mess. There's obviously something odd going on.Prometheus75 wrote...
The more I think about this the less enthused I become about playing this game. Hope it isn't something else that I have to pretend doesn't exist like the damn Star Wars prequels.
It just all smells fishy.
Or you could just read the script which has the exact same endings and is out there for all to read if you don't want to believe Tank from SA who was testing the game until January when he got fired for posting about it.

If in the end, their words ring true, then so what if I'm wrong? I'm just not easily swayed by things like this. I rather believe the devs.
That is completely different. IGN is a respected gaming journalism community. Gaming Journalists always get the games earlier than everyone else. Why? So they can get reviews out as soon as possible. This helps the gaming companies because marketing. Having good reviews means more people will buy it. I'm sure IGN could only post some videos that only appear within the first few hours of the game. No major plot points are revealed.CerberusSoldier wrote...

Oh I disagree they care so much to put a NDA on the ones who have the space edition but its clear IGN is under no such NDA when it came to those 2 videos being able to be posted . yeah you tell me what they are doing . Oh thats right doing their best not to see the ending up on you tube before next week

But Humans are mamals, we are animals, so I don't see who calling us mamals 50,000 years ago can hurt, also Neanderthals crossed into the human gene pool too, it's where red heads come from.
