I'm still confused as to why people are flipping out about the crew teleporting, with no damn explanation, onto the Normandy. Seriously, am I the only one that realizes it's clearly a damn bug?

You know there's no confirmation yet.
If it is it's great (Even if that doesn't allow me to save Cortez and Samantha), but we'll only know for sure after the game's been patched.

Yep. I plan on getting it, doing the best I can, making the decisions I can, and then just watching the ending play out with a sigh of disppointment and no desire to start it over again.

Being a hardcore fan or not really doesn't have anything to do with the situation, imo. The sad truth is the endings are poorly thought out, written and from the sound of the kid, executed.

I have a hard time agreeing that most people will like this...thing. It's not edgy. It's not grimdark cool. It's just bad.

I don't know how big of a fiasco this will be but it will be a spectacle. For my part, I'm going to try to not let it ruin the entire game / franchise for me. I'll try to just ignore this part and when the reapers are beat on earth and I talk to Anderson and my other friends, that'll be it for my Shep.

People like you need to remember 2 things.

1) assuming these were the only endings, and im not saying they are, this is biowares right to end THEIR story how they see fit. They are the author, and no matter how much you like their story and payed for it so far doesn't change that. If you dont like it dont buy it and spare us the crying for facks sake.

2) It is not as easy you think to create a game, on a limited budget and timeline, that has the variety of endings that take every single variable into account. They dont just wave a wand and make the game appear, there are technological, production, time, and money limitations that go into a project of this size. Bioware is a business, who regularly has their has their products stolen by pirates, and they have to make a large profit in order to continue making great games. Bottom line they have limited resources and time to get this done and they do their best. 

Do you honestly believe they aren't doing their best to create quality entertainment? Just because you don't like how one their stories end doesn't mean they did it on purpose. Maybe they made a bad choice, but I assure you your in the minority and most people will like the ending of mass effect 3 when they have played the game IN ITS ENTIRETY. Now stop being a disgusting little troll and learn to live with other peoples opinions that differ from yours.

Hrm, stong is this one,  with the dark side.

1) And, conversly, it's the fans right to complain.  THis is hardly limited to just Bioware fans, either.  I've seen more then one book author takeing flack from fans for writing a poor ending.  (In one case, it was somewhat deserved as the intent had been to drive fans away from the series so the publisher would free them up to write something new.)

2)Oooh, the 'pirates' defense.

Ok, one, I do know something about game production from an inside perspective.  Endings, I might point out, unless you are paying an outside firm to do all your cg sequences, are actually one of the cheaper things to create. Usually an ending gets cut becasue something else is taking too long, not the ending itself consuming resources.  In this case, BIoware really can't pull either of those excuses.  The game isn't linear, and the CG budget was obviously enormus, as we've all seen those nice trailers they hammered out.  For hte cost of the super bowl one we could have squeezed five endings out of the game.

Being somewhat cynical at this point, my assumption is that EA is pulling a Bethesda and we're going to be paying for DLC to get the real endings.

Acutally the VS, Tali and Garrus can be saved but you must do it early on so they can't be in your squad, instead they turn in major war assests. That leaves you EDI, Liara, Vega and Prothy if you have him.

Yeah, got the CE pre-ordered. Though it is my last Bioware game.
