Reviewers? These the quality of the guys who claimed the movie Milk and other "artistic" movies that crashed and burned at the box office even worth the time of day? Reviewers bought and paid for by EA and BW - yeah like I give a damn about that lot of Judases and their 20 pieces of silver.

They screwed the ending to the single player up so we'll all just stick to multiplayer. In order to get us used to playing with others.

No better proof that they're probably already working on an MMO. And sadly it worked. I know several people who really aren't even gonna bother with the story. They paid off their pre-orders before the endings were leaked. So now they're just in it for the multiplayer.

The best ending is now get Wrex and Captain Kirahee killed in ME1 and pick your favourite character - Ashely or Kaiden to get killed, get as many of Shepard's crew killed in Mass Effect 2 by ignoring sidequests, kill the council. Don't reprogam the Geth in ME2.

Destroy the cure, destroy and shoot anyone you come accross to spare them this horrible fate. Ignore side quests and skrew up major story choices, go in with the lowest possible war assets you can so that as many people will be left on their homeworld as possible and ignore sidequests.

Pick the destroy ending so that the survivors won't be forced against their will to become something they don't want to be and hope for the best / let someone else deal with the AI singularity problem in the future. Hopefully the Normandy crew will all mostly die from the crash.

You'll still get that same destroy ending but Earth will be devestated but at least it'll be humane

I know that the voice files without the full context and sound effects suck badly but it does too in any movie or game if you do the same. But Andy Serkis's Gollum would be a much better choice than that kid. "Go Now and Never Come Back!"

Correct. It remains to be seen. It's not a CGI cutscene. It's an in-game thing. This tells me it's one of those things based on your decisions. Hell, the Normandy always crashing could be a bug. I admit I don't believe that even, but it's possible. We just don't know.

Either way, crew not on the Normandy appearing on the Normandy stinks of bug. I asked Xoi about this, and he said that "teleported" is the wrong word. So they just "POOF" onto the Normandy without explanation. The trigger bring that they are recruited.

So if they are alive, but not apart if your squad, they don't appear magically. If they are recruited, but not aboard the Normandy, they suddenly *poof* onto the ship. No explanation. No reason. Just magically there.

Yeah, totally sounds like a "writting flaw".

So if I get this straight: if I have Garrus and Liara in my squad at the end, they will be teleported to the Normandy and stranded?

I don't know whether to shake my head in amazement or start wailing in agony when the game comes out.  Either way there are just two more days left until launch day, people.  I'm going to try acting midly suprised in the end but something tells me that, no matter what I do, I'll never be able to get what I've worked for.  Multiplayer is going to be filled with soooooo many depressed fans that it might drive me away from playing it.

I liked the quote someone made in an older thread when the OP asked about whether SP or MP would have the better story.

Multiplayer, because you and your entire squad don't all die at the end when you win.

This is farfetched, I'm sure...

But they did say there are six endings, right? Testers are counting seven. What we're all counting are minor variables to each ending. Now others have said, though unlikely, that could have Bioware locked these endings by changing file names and directories. They didn't want all the endings spoiled.

Couldn't this patch, instead of adding content, unlock and rearrange files? I don't believe it, but that seems likely. They've recently stated that there are 6 different endings. But again, we count "7". Everyone says they are really three with different variables...so...

Jackal on the NOSE.  Because these are the people who are most emotionally invested in the outcome.  I won't be able to play the game until next weekend but to find out first how it ends I'm just going to watch the Ashley forum and wait for the explosion - or the joy, if it turns out this is a huge misinformation campaign.  So I'll know ahead of time whether or not I will be needing to return my collector's edition.
