So we can't get the ending we want after all?

Where are these endings you guys are talking about? I'm.......more than a little curious about them.
Merge: Everyone become half-organic, half-synthetic. Shepard dies.
Control: Shepard controls the Reapers but is trapped on the Citadel forever. Shepard dies.
Destroy: Shepard destroys Reapers and Mass Relays. Shepard can live in this one.
No matter what ending, the mass relays supposedly blow up or stop. The normandy supposedly crashes on a random moon/planet and they colonize.
Some believe these are not the endings.
But if those things are not true wouldn't they say something? Man.........maybe I shouldn't have looked.

As someone that studies both evolution and human civilization, your use of "mammal" and "50,000" years here makes me both chuckle and hurt.
but.. but...
Neanderthal men...
mamals!
Died out about 30,000 years ago. Humanity, as we are today, came about around 200,000 years ago.
But Humans are mamals, we are animals, so I don't see who calling us mamals 50,000 years ago can hurt, also Neanderthals crossed into the human gene pool too, it's where red heads come from.
Neanderthals breeding with humans is still debated. Had a discussion with about that in my evolution class, actually. I thought it was proven, but ask others in the field and they'll say no. It's not like other things (Global Warming) where there is a 90% or above consensus among those that study the field. As well, we are mammals. Which is why I found it funny that you said "mammal ancestors". I know how you meant it, but the way it comes off is that our ancestors were mammals, but not us. =P
Yeah, I read about the neanderthal thing about 3 or 4 years ago, and I was just to lazy to confirm modern humans existing at that point so said mamals cause while it's not specific it's not untrue, past humans were still mamals.

You want my advice? Don't believe anything anyone says: Dev or otherwise. We won't know until next tuesday!
It's already seeming like they straight up lied about the Readiness meter so I really don't trust the devs anymore either.

Who wants to bet that Bioware actually expected the datamining, and rather diliberately gave us only 1 ending in that, and that until Mar 6, we won't actually know what the real other endings are? Day one patches are almost the norm for computer/video games (Console AND PC) nowadays. Who's to say that the patch won't unlock other things, or just simply give them?
Bioware already altered the Demo, and even admitted it. Who's to say they didn't alter the "Space Versions" too?
I think we are being told ONE ending, cleverly disguised, but one ending only.
ANd that Bioware is very evil, and secretly laughing at BSN.

And I'm willing to bet that the devs are laughing their a**es off over this!

Also, both Tank's and Xio's statement contradict Mac Walter's interview where he states there are six endings.
Tank and Xio claim 3 endings with 3 variations.
So...someone explain the gap?

I think all of this talk about a "secret ending" is giving Mac Walters too much credit. This is the guy who thought it made sense to load Shepard and every squad member onto a shuttle to go on a phantom "mission" just so the Normandy could be invaded by the Collectors. He doesn't care if things make sense as long as it's dramatic.
Did Bioware ever say what the mission was suppose to be?

Bingo. There will be more DC in the coming week. That pretty much confirms there is no LI happy ending. And confirms Xio and Tanks posts over at SA.

I have to admit, that was the most awkward moment in ME2 for me at least.
Also...people, get a grip!! This is not going to deter ME3 what-so-ever! It's gone gold, we won't know anything for certain until march 6th, and everyone is getting all gloomy over some "leaks" that may OR MAYNOT be legit!!
Then again...it's BSN. What can I expect?
