Mass Effect 3 was presented as the third and final part of a trilogy, so what is next in the Mass Effect universe?
We are going to be supporting Mass Effect 3 for quite some time, because I think people are going to have a lot of fun with multiplayer, and we'll be supporting that with new content as we go forward. We also have a really good DLC plan, like we had for Mass Effect 2, so there will be new adventures and new things to do. Then, beyond that, we'll just have to wait and see.

And lastly, while there wouldn't be anywhere near as many complaints, Tazz is indeed right (I think Tazz said it) that people would complain if there was a happy ending availiable. If there is one thing being on game forums and sites has taught me, it's that people will complain about absolutely anything.
That said, there is nothing wrong with including a happy ending. And no, I do not mean to drag it on, though it would indeed be dragged on even without me posting here.
If there was one happy ending, or an ending where you ended up with yoru crew/LI, amid ten or 15 girmdark endings, I don't think the level of outrage would be as severe. As it stands, they all basically end the same way. I think that, more than anything, is what is upsetting most people.

I've read the leaked script and it was a pretty basic and general outline of how the ending plays out . Their were really no details on the status of your squadmates and LI's. Sorry if I'm 200 pages behind.
Will this at least satisfy people 'somewhat'?
and like i said no matter who posts what people are still gona complain regarding the normandy deal
im fine with it because it leaves open to interpretation for the fans
the reviews have constantly said that the game doesn't leave any questions open when you finish. I still don't think the ending has been fully explained. I haven't heard much about the squad you take with you on the final assult. I just know that they die if your war asset score is too low.

I certainly hope so. I also hope that a sort of 'happy ending' is with the game already... if BW decides to make it DLC it will be sold likely but also cause an uproar and damage to BW's tarnished reputation.
Also, I hope the necessary decisions for the 'best ending' are findable with common sense, because I am not planning to do MP and would be majorly pissed if there's a bogus explanation for the decision for the 'best ending'.
I truly hate MP, and the score tallies leaked so far look like to be too low to be able to get an best ending if you missed one of the necessary choices.

That is indeed my point. There wouldn't be as much, I 'believe', but there would still be some complaints.
But, as I said, the endings are rather left open to interpretation if FTL travel is possible and they can travel that fast? Not to mention the other ships crash landing if true. Nor do we know how far away the planet they crash on is.

If we're going by articles, they also said there'd be no post-game DLC. At this point, really anything they've claimed is now suspect, but given how a resume saved game works after completing the main mission, I believe it.
agreed....lots of misdirection in what they've been saying....which leads me to believe that release day patch may have fix somthing up with the end....perhaps some of the stuff we've seen is a bug that it will correct, much like the LI flashback.....
they could also have realized, there's going to be a $h!tstorm, and we can produce a quick happy ending simply DLC that folks will gobble up...

Do you seriously see nothing wrong with them cutting an important factoid like that out and selling it later?
if its worth the money then yes i do think its worth it
some can argue that lotsb couldve been free and yet they dont....
mike gamble said it i believe to ign. save your me3 import .
now this is my theory im wondering if that unlocks a rescue mission for both shepard and crew by having your lvl 20 multiplayer search for them after the events of me3
or if it dosent unlock it could be a dlc thats after the game

Then good for you Tazz! But if BW actually stuck with the "CHOICE matters" thing that they have been saying over the years for each ME game (for this one too), then we would have a good and bad ending at least... You could have your ending where the bad guys win and I could have my "hero saves the galaxy and lives happily ever after with his friends and LI" ending, cause its a GAME about CHOICE after all... Just the addition of a happy ending would of stopped so many people from complaining. I however still plan on getting the game, I do expect it to be an awesome game, I'm just not going to be happy at the endings so will complain after I finish the game, if the leaks are true... Which by the looks of it, they are.Tazzmission wrote...

seriously grow up
I am meerly offended that you're glad there isn't a happy ending, because people would complain if there was one.
listen life as a whole isnt always gona end with a happy ending it can be terrible miserable even deadly and if people dont understand the point of me3 being a tragedy story game then fine w/e but dont ruin it for me or anyone else who actually does understand it
im a gamer about story and believe it or not im tired of seeing the hero always winning no matter how much i like one or more.
for once i want the bad guys to win

And how many of you seriously think that the guys that played it had enough time to play it perfectly and several times?
And did they play with imported characters?

But, remember how "talk with Anderson" lowers the EMS for Shepard to be alive?
And he tells him (didn't listen to the FemShep dialogue, but I guess it's the same) he'd make a great father and such.
This makes you feel better and that you'll make it with your LI.
I still suspect something could happen (Expansion?) but I don't know how... and we'll get our "good" ending.

I definitely don't mind having a good ending which can light up my spirit instead of depressing me because the saga has ended. I don't mind the bittersweet endings as well, or even the plain bitter ones.
But when I think of all the people expecting blue babies or Tali's face showing for the kiss at her marriage cerimony, it breaks my heart. I can feel their pain. I do empathize. I do not suffer though. Pain is unavoidable, suffering is optional.
Hey now. A game that let the main hero choose if his nemesis or antagonist wins or perhaps just leave scene alive and unharmed is a very rare thing. Other than The Witcher 2, I don't remember a game with the balls to give us as many choices as you asked! =)

The main sources are Xoisite who has played the space edition twice and Tank and several others who have played the game. Xoisite has had the game for over a week, I believe. He managed to get the best endings. Xoisite did play with an imported character that has both ME1 and ME2 on the save.

The day 1 patch (which has confirmed to be 16MB on PSN and has already been pre-loaded via Origin) doesn't contain any new movies. The players played through it with the max war assets, and Xoi played with an imported character.
I'm also quite happy that I went to bed last night making a similar post, and I can now wake up and produly announce the return of the "BioWare wouldn't 'do this'" defense.
