God i hope neither. One way or another the outcome for BioWare would be really bad, EA too.Personally, i don't think the first one is a good idea, not when you publicize your game worldwide with lots of cool trailers, nice sprites and scary endings.Same goes for the second.Now i finally start to get the Pwned joke on Liara and smurfs.
other companies did the same with their games...like Batman AA or Darksouls
I honestly loathe the devs of Batman AA for that anti-piracy decision at this point.
Think about the differences: In Batman AA, iirc, your cape is just messed up. You can't glide very well, get trapped in a gas room of death as a result of it, which causes you to die when the room fills up and, therefore, doesn't let you beat the game, which is what a pirate, presumably, would want to do.
In Mass Effect 3, you can play through the game just fine, with no hindrance to gameplay, and get similar shades of bad ending.
Which is the greater deterrent for piracy?
