Risselda wrote...So I sat on it a couple days. And I am ok with the endings. Tbh, I like the endings...and I think they allow us to have a happier ending than if bioware force fed us one.I mean...I think it'd be much more heartfelt if shep (after destroy) set out and found the normandy. Every race working to rebuild mass relays....wouldnt take long. The endings allow for much more rich headcannons.
I do not want to resort to headcanon...that's like delusion
So we can't get the ending we want after all?

Non organic life wiping out organic life to prevent them from being wiped out by non organic life. Sure. We all buy it.
And of course Joker running away to the Charon relay. Does anybody know why he does that btw? He's not the type of guy to chicken out from a battle!
Nothing in this ending makes sense. Guess it will make headcanon much easier...

Sorry. Need to calm down.

LMAO - those on here claiming THEY love the endings write - come on - use your imagination - What? BW took any imagination away with their push button, choose favorite Christmas Tree lights, and kiss your butt goodbye!
how did they steal your imagination away?
i can imagine a ton of possible ways this ends the way it does
I said it before, but you ignored it.
When BioWare says "definite end" and "more answers than questions", I expect something DEFINITE.
An epilogue text or something that tells me, what did my actions do.
Who lived? Who died? What changed? How did the world go on?
And then have the grandpa and kid.
and like i said many times before it can end up as dlc and for all you know it could be free dlc
just be patient and quit freaking out so much
And i think that from Bioware can fix this with DLCs

You know, Tali was always my favorite romance option (and yes, I find the hardcore "talimancers" just as creepy as everyone else). There are some people who HATE her character with a passion I can't comprehend (most likely on account of the aforementioned talimancers... seriously, we never see her portrayed as an anime wallflower in-game. What the hell, guys?) When you think about it, though, the player has more opportunity to dump on her than any other character. You can:Mr Plow wrote...
So Tali on the cliff....suicide scenario?
And I thought they said it would be a lighter game
* Deny her a pilgrimage gift after she gets you your spectre status in the first place
* Send Veetor off to Cerberus, making the deaths of her marines on Freedom's Progress meaningless
* Get Kal'Reegar killed
* Expose her father's work at her trial, utterly destroying his reputation
* Instruct Legion to transmit data which will likely provoke the Geth into attacking the Migrant Fleet
* Side with the Geth over the Quarians, leading to the final extinction of the Quarian race
Given all that, it's astonishing she doesn't try to kill you herself...
But, yeah... back on topic.

The reapers are too powerful to beat with force of arms look how many ships it took just to kill one in ME1 this is an entire armada.
That is their own bloody fault then that Bioware created an unfixable story. Hell, why can't the ships of the engaging fleet be equipped with Thanix cannons etc? For all we know, Reaper tech is powerfull enough to majorly damage or even destroy them.
But the current endings.... really... feels like DAII and the Matrix-series in one... good start (ME 1), decent lunch (ME2), very badly written ending (ME3).

Ill say this for the 94586th time, if they only change the fate of the normandy 99% of the drama going on would vanish lol
Honestly i wouldnt mind (actually i would like) if they did that. But when i think of ME3 as a game, as the last part of the trilogy i believe this ending is amazing. Bioware did a good job and they dont deserve most of the grief were giving them...
Right now i give this game a 9.7 for story (if they save the normandy it would be a 10 lol)
-------------
You can say anything you wish - YOU got exactly what YOU want - WE DID NOT! Is that so hard for YOU to understand? Maybe you do love the push button choose favorite Christmas Tree color then bend over and kiss your butt goodbye. Hell, that don't even qualify is a bad writing - that can only qualify as the ramblings of the truly insane.

There are a few websites that are free, where you can write up a petition. If you start one on here you might have trolls wreak it the thread or a mod close it down due to TOS. Using a third party webste to do it, would remove those two problems.ElMuchu wrote...

oh well lol thats a problem for much of ME series then.(seriously, destroying the reaper base is a stuuuuupid decision, i cant imagine how anyone inteligent person in real life would make that choice, they should just give us an option to give the base to the aliance/consil).
I guess our main diference is how we choose to see the game, i prefer a poetic/literary aproach and you focus on maximun immersion and having things make as much sense as possible(like i said a clash of worldviews)
I don't understand why Bioware couldn't have implemented both. To allow an ending where everything was in ruins but Shepard was with his/her friends would not have invalidated all the other options.
The lack of personal sacrifice.
I think we all knew that Shephard had to die if he was taking on the most deadly thing, he sacrifices himself for the greater good, one way or the other.
"Had to?"
No.
Whatever gave you that idea, other than meaningless "literary" expectations of what how a story "should" turn out?
Never mind that this isn't a book, or a play, or a movie. It's a game, and a game that has all along been hyped by the maker as a game in which "the player's choices matter", only to have them mean NOTHING at the very end.

When that Krogan in ME2 talked about plunging the Citadel into the sun, I remember thinking at the time that it actually wasn't a bad idea...albertalad wrote...
The citadel is the key - what's to simplify this monstrosity of an ending? Hell, I'd place five or so nukes inside the citadel and blow that place to dust -
But no. TEH DRAMAZZZ overrules all logical courses of action.
Seriously, let us contact the Turian and Quarian fleets and tell them to go home before we push the magic button. Let us recall the Normandy, final goodbye to LI, whatever. I can live with Shepard dying, but give us something here!

Yeap.
EA doesn't give a damn about ME's fans, it wants the playerbase from CoD and Halo and all the other dudebro games.
