Well, if a secret ending does exist, I don't expect more than an extra audio or text epilogue tacked onto the original ending.

The technology of the Relays is so advanced that organics rely on them instead of developing that level of technology for themselves. With all due respect, Garrus30, that sounds more like a typical "use new game plus to play the game again and make different choices" than it does a "go beat the game again and get a secret ending".  And whoever took that picture did a horrible job.  Don't cut off sentences like that.  Take a picture of the whole thing so we can see the context of it.

Thanks... I took the pictures with my phone in a disgustingly bright lit warehouse. If I actually owned the guide I would've used my digital camera to properly zoom and focus. Entire sentences wouldn't fit in the pictures and still be readable; then you'd be complaining that the words were just lines. In fact, the guide specifically states that finishing a new game plus makes a "secret ending" available. Not different or new or awesome or magical or perfect, but secret.

I agree with you.  A special intel bonus doesn't necessarily translate into "alternate ending".

You probably refer to a different picture I posted (which I edited later), I got myself mixed up where I read it (due to the quality) so it was the wrong picture.

The stream just leaked the Destroy ending:

Shepard and Anderson are transported aboard the Crucible - apparently, your squadmates may remain alive if you have enough Readiness points, and remain on Earth (although they're probably injured). Shepard finds Anderson at a console inside the Crucible, and the Illusive Man is there as well. Shep and IM have a conversation about the potential of the Reapers. There's an interrupt moment (where you might be able to save Anderson, if the leaked dialogue is any indication), and the conversation with the Crucible plays.

The dialogue is pretty much exactly the same as the leaked file, and the representation is a holographic(?) projection of the kid from the beginning of the game. Shepard goes to destroy something and fires several bullets from his pistol into it, igniting the Crucible and sending the beam out.

The Normandy lands on a planet that has jungle foliage. In the playthrough, the streamer got a bad end - the scene cuts just before the airlock fully opens. Epilogue plays the same, and ends a declaration that the story can continue through "further gameplay and downloadable content".

I'd be fine with the endings, even though I dislike that 'singularity' plot, if there were
other, happier endings as well!
So I really hope there's a secret ending with something like a happy end.

Online petitions are a joke. I think we have to resign ourselves to the fact that the writers at Bioware went a certain direction with the game. We may not like that direction, but Bioware is certainly allowed to express their "artistic talent".
